Very nice hotel for 2 days stay. Rooms are vintage but found with latest gadgets. Staff was excellent., The lifts though small because of its antique version built in the 1938 but worked perfectly. They captured the essence of the 1930 hotel. The interior is asthetic . What was most appreciated is the best customer service they have to each and every guest. They look after every details of the customer requirement . Example we had a dental kit with tooth brush and tooth paste also a comb. Moreover they supplied exceptional number of drinking water bottles in the rooms and some snack also included in the stay. Now a days very few hotels do that. Flavours Restaurant on ground floor. Amazing breakfast with various option to choose from menu. Further, they serve you coffee and tea at your table. Special thanks to Ashish and Biswajeet very good efficent and smiling and very friendly to cater to your needs. Not to forget the reception Mr. Ganesh who was kind enough accommodate us with late check out. Also thanks to the darban dressed very well with a smiling face and opened the door and got us taxis Mr Maqbool. The famous Queens Necklace view is mesmerizing just a few steps from this beautiful hotel. The sunset is not to be missed. Though the area is crowded it captures the essence of Bombay. Having grownup in Mumbai it was a childhood dream to see this hotel from inside and dine at the revolving restaurant at the top, which was unfortunately shut down 12 years back. Requesting the management to find a way to revive the one only moving restaurant and again give people of Bombay to explore the 360 degree view of the city and the magnificent Arabian Sea. Will visit again.
