Niranta Transit Hotel Mumbai Airport - At Arrivals

The hotel is located inside the terminal building. You'll need to enter from the underground level after exiting the terminal, which can be a bit difficult to find the first time. Airport security will ask you to call the hotel front desk to verify your stay before letting you through, but you can show them your booking confirmation and argue your case. I suggest the hotel proactively provides these special check-in instructions after a successful booking to reduce traveler inconvenience. The room was generally spacious, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Despite the inconvenient access, it was a good experience for a layover rest.

I had a 6 AM flight on the second day, so I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was incredibly cold inside, even with the air conditioning off. My room had no windows, and I assume all rooms are like that since it's located inside the airport. It's easy to find the hotel from the T2 arrivals gate. However, be aware that because it's inside the airport, going outside or to the departures level is a hassle, typical of Indian airport regulations. You're pretty much limited to finding food on the arrivals level, and there's hardly anything to eat there. Also, the hotel provides its own bottled water, not sealed mineral water. To avoid an upset stomach, I went to the arrivals level to buy my own bottled water. Otherwise, it served its purpose for a convenient transfer.

This hotel is super convenient for transit. It takes just a couple of minutes to get from the arrivals area to the hotel following the signs, and the same amount of time to reach the departures area on the 4th floor. The hotel has a small restaurant with a menu adapted for Europeans. The room comes with all necessary toiletries, including a razor, as well as tea and coffee. The only downside I can mention is how easily you can hear what's happening in the hallway. However, there's a sign at the entrance to the residential area asking guests to keep quiet in the corridor. You can't hear any airport noise in the rooms themselves, so I managed to rest and get some sleep between flights!
