I wasn't going to post a review, but I've stayed many different places & felt the need to comment on this Super 8. I work overnights & needed some where to stay to attend my cousin's funeral in the next town. After driving 4 hours & after working overnight, I arrived at the Super 8 in Munfordville, KY. Check-in went well & the guy working the front desk that evening was nice & sympathetic to the reasons why I was staying there. After attending my cousin's calling hours in the next town, I returned to my room. The wifi didn't work & had trouble getting a decent cell phone signal. I finally went to sleep around Midnight. The bed was actually comfortable & nice, although the room wasn't the cleanest. Stains on the curtains, holes in the blanket & smudges on the desks. An hour into my sleep I was awaken by a noise to discover a LIVE MOUSE in my room, running around the chair and near my belongings. YES, A LIVE MOUSE!!! After a long day, the last thing I want to do is call the front desk & complain about a mouse, when I'm trying to sleep & in my pjs. So I just trapped the mouse & went to sleep. The next morning (day of my cousin's funeral), the shower was not good. Shower & curtain dirty, water did not drain well in the tub or bathroom sink. I told the front desk about the live mouse that was still awaiting them as I checked out. He didn't seem to care one bit. While a live mouse doesn't really bother me, I'm sure it would bother many of you reading this review. Take it for its worth. It is what it is...I was glad to leave.
