I planned this trip to coincide with Oktoberfest.
It's within 10 minutes' access from Munich Central Station, and there are subways, buses, and trains nearby. The venue is about 20 minutes' walk away, so it's very convenient to get to the venue.
Best of all, if you can time it to coincide with the start of Oktoberfest, you can see the parade right in front of the hotel, or from your room, depending on the room.
The Oléo Pazzo Restaurant/Bar on the first floor serves German food (breakfast/dinner), and the pasta was also very delicious.
