The majority of 5 point reviews led us to visit this newly opened island. In recent years we have visited great resorts like Veligandu or Robinson Maldives, so our view may be more critical. First of all, the plus points: - a large island with a lot of potential (once everything is finished) - very stylish and tasteful furnishings in the restaurants, bar, cafe... - 4 bottles of water every day and a fairly well-stocked minibar that is refilled daily (not all products were included in the all-inclusive package) - Italian and Asian restaurant and cafe, a limited selection is included in the all-inclusive package (e.g. ice cream in the cafe, you had to pay extra) - our beach villa with private pool was relatively large and tasteful - fan also in the bathroom ( important) - Against mosquitoes incense sticks, vaporizer and skin spray free of charge (was also urgently needed because without it was absolutely impossible. My wife had over 100 mosquito bites on the first day) - great sunset cruise, great crew But above all the many, great employees! Particularly friendly and courteous people who fulfilled our wishes quickly and reliably and with a lot of joy! Representing many - our great host SANDEEPA (Sandy), who through his quick intervention found a good solution for the first bungalow with the catastrophic beach paved with sandbags and was always available for all of our wishes. - our kind and thorough room service NAAFIZ, for whom nothing was too much to beautify and clean our room - our ASHI in the restaurant, who pampered us and “served” us in a good mood - - last but not least our artist SETARE, among others whose expert guidance resulted in a great portrait. Unfortunately, where there is a lot of light, there are also shadows. Avoidable and unnecessary shadow: - the first bungalow assigned to us was a disaster on the beach - see photo. Our request (sunset) was also not taken into account. Since we didn't want to lie with our loungers on the piled up sandbags, we were already thinking about leaving. The beach in front of our bungalow was about 1 m wide. The general manager Mr. Steinhilber said that it is just erosion. Well, you certainly shouldn’t offer such a “location”! And apologize for it. -There is still a lot of construction going on on the island! Both in the middle of the island and on entire sections of the beach. Circumnavigating the island was not possible at all. - a diesel tractor ran all day. The smell of diesel and construction noise is actually not something we want to “enjoy” in the Maldives. - Some infrastructure could not yet be used. - Completely wrong: truck tires, metal canisters and loose plastic pipes in the water (near the beach) Villa height 501… - The food in the main restaurant was a bit monotonous. We are used to something much different from Robinson Maldives etc! If you expect a real steak: none, or you had to pay for it despite being all-inclusive

It was an amazing vacation! More than a month has passed, but bright and warm memories still keep me warm. Check in was quick and with a big surprise! Instead of a beach villa I was offered a water villa. At first I doubted, but then I was very grateful for such a gift. If your goal is privacy, then a water villa is what you need. Main advantages: 1. You will really have privacy. 2. The sun terrace with their own private space to relax with direct access to the lagoon. Two steps and the whole water world is under your feet. 3. Free access to a la carte restaurants (Dinner in an Italian restaurant right on the sand by torchlight with prosecco and tiramisu. It's a delight!). And so it is possible to enumerate ad infinitum. The island is very beautiful and full of green and flowers. When you walk along the beach or along the paths, you get the feeling that you are in two parallel worlds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and ready to help you with any questions. If you are relaxing alone, believe me, you will not be bored😊. If someone thinks that the Maldives is just a beach and snorkeling, then he or she is greatly mistaken. The recreation program is so varied that you can dance incendiary at the party, and watch the national Maldivian dances and spend a wonderful evening in the bar enjoying live music. And finally, my vacation would not have been so complete if I had not taken the risk of going to private yoga classes. This is worth it! For a person inexperienced with yoga and meditative practices, this was a revelation! In just a couple of classes, thanks to Aditi, you begin to feel your body and your mind is filled with calmness and clarity. I highly recommend individual classes to everyone, especially when they take place on the sea edge with a sunset view😊 Thanks to all management of the hotel for the high level of service and the feeling that the guest is the most important here!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at JB. Went there as one of our destinations for our 25th anniversary. Overall rating: 9/10   JB is an extremely beautiful place. Ultraluxury accommodation in a paradisiac environment. Architecture is stunning and fully integrated with local nature. Gardening is manicured, but at the same time respectful with endemic species. Decoration of common and private spaces is extremely tasteful, ample spaces everywhere that seem to have been designed with attention to every single detail.   Service is top-notch. From the people that deal directly with guests, to the large team in charge of keeping everything tidy. After an overnight trip from London, we were welcomed at the hotel lobby/port/marine airport, a stunning architectural design, by the hotel manager and several members of the team.   We were introduced to Razan, who was going to be our butler for the stay. Razan conducted himself with the right mix of professionalism and warming attitude. As with the rest of the operation, he was always on top of details, making sure we were happy and comfortable. Perfect butler that make our stay pleasant.   Service at common areas was again at an extremely high level. Beach and swiming-pool are very well attended. Bars and lunch area also very well served. Dinner service also really good. Reception at the restaurants was handled very professionally by several young woman, always with a welcoming smile. Waiters also super attentive at all times, to bring you anything you needed with a great attitude. Henry, in charge of this service team, came every single day to say hello and to spend a few minutes chatting with us and make sure everything was going well.   Food is at very high standard. Light salads nicely presented and tasteful. Meat and fish very well cooked. Menu is a mix of international cuisine with presence of Asian flavours and some local touch. JC, in charge of directing all cooking, also came to introduce himself and offered his help if we needed anything special. They do a very good job at the kitchens.   In terms of facilities, the overall theme of this resort is wellness, so as you can expect, SPA and GYM areas were at a super-high level. The SPA is one of the most gorgeous we have ever seen, a dream for instagramers, with a number of treatments to your taste. The Gym is absolutely first class, also in a large beautiful building, with several professionals and complimentary physical activities. Service in these facilities, again super pleasing and helpful.   At this ultra-luxury level of facilities and service, complaining of anything does not seem right, but let us address some areas to improve. ”Flow” is the name of the main restaurant, that is used both for breakfast and dinner; the transition of ambiances from day to night is very well thought-out, it feels like two different places, equally gorgeous. ”Mojo” is the alternative restaurant, that is next to the swimming pool, used for lunch, as all day bar, an

Everything was a great experience. The rooms were always clean and comfortable, not to mention gorgeous. The private pool, outdoor chairs, and hammocks are the resort. The blue ocean directly in front of you can be entered directly from your room (it's shallow so it's safe), and if you time it right, you can see lots of fish. There are many dining options, including Italian, Turkish, and Japanese, and the food is very good. After dinner, you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and shisha at the resort-style bar. If you stay in a water villa, you will have a dedicated butler who is available 24 hours a day. Communication is also smooth as you can do it via chat. Both the hardware and software are of high quality! I will definitely come back! I strongly recommend staying here.
