Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Murfreesboro

My recent stay at Microtel Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, showcasing a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and efficiency. From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the time I checked out, every aspect of my experience was meticulously crafted to ensure a memorable stay.

Great hotel it was clean the employees were very nice and helped me with anything I needed I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The smell was horrible. The showers didn’t drain and we had to switch rooms because the water didn’t work in our shower.

The overall experience was awful. The guy was rude while checking in, acting like I was a disrupting his leisure time. When I checked out I accidentally left medical neck pillow, and when I called (that same day) was told they threw it away in the trash and I was cussed out because I asked for corporates number. I’ve had better stays in jail.

This motel in Murfreesboro is a standout choice. The staff is excellent and very responsive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast is good, served in a spacious breakfast room. Additionally, the lobby is clean and roomy, providing a comfortable place to relax. Overall, this motel offers great value and a pleasant stay.

My boyfriend & I stayed here during his last visit to TN and due to the Eclipse, almost every hotel in town was booked solid. I have fond memories of Microtel stays with my youth group from 15 years ago, so I convinced him that we should book due to that. 1. This place is filthy. I wore sandals in the room and when I had to call the front desk, used my own cellphone as the phone in the room was so disgusting, it was almost waxy. The bathroom looked like a broken down Taco Bell from the 90's with huge cracks in the floor and the tub crevices and back pieces of the toilet were stained brown, so you know this place hasn't been deep cleaned in YEARS. Lastly, I threw my dude a pillow one night and when he caught it, part of the pillow case rolled down and the pillow was stained yellow and red, from sweat and blood droplets I'm assuming. It made him gag and I didn't dare look at any more uncovered pillows or I wouldn't have been able to sleep. 2. Breakfast SUCKS. It's terrible. Luckily there is a Cracker Barrel across the street. 3. No pool 4. There are smoking rooms so even if you're in a non smoking room, it still smells like smoke. 5. Our toilet was clogged the first day and we called the front desk twice and told a housekeeper but nobody ever came to help us. My beau had to go to the front desk in person where someone gave him a plunger (???) and he brought it back to the room. In short, the microtel of my youth is no more as this was a purchased property and not one of theirs from days of old. The staff said hi and bye every time but weren't actually helpful when we needed them and the place is legit a dump. It made me sad and my boyfriend now has banned me from hotel bookings in the future.

My room had flaws. The microwave was dirty. It had food from god knows when still left in it. The ceiling light was falling off from the ceiling. And worst of all… the tub. The tub needed some drano because it wasn’t draining fast. I went down to ask if the staff can put some drano in for me. The staff handed me a plunger. At first I thought he had heard me wrong and thought I was talking about the toilet. But when I clarified that it was the tub I was talking about, the staff said that they don’t have drano and only use the plunger to plunge the tub when it doesn’t drain well. I turned down the plunger and just left it be. Maintenance is very much needed for these issues.
