Central location. Clean, affordable, secured. Mrs. Ann and Emma will make you feel welcome. It was Jacaranda blooming season so it was ripe with great places to take lovely pictures. We like Mutare in general but this place makes it feel like home away from home.

Yes I did , oh the place is so warm and cozzy , it’s so homely, Anne is such an amazing woman, I recommend Anne Bruce Backpackers to anyone travelling to Mutare above all it’s affordable , the place is right in town so you choose to drive or walk in and around town without incurring an extra expense on gas

We had a wonderful time in Ann Bruce Backpackers. Ann, Emma and their family were all super friendly and you got the feeling of being part of the family yourself. The room and kitchen are very clean and well equipped. There are many supermarkets within walking distance. We went to the Buvmba Mountains with Takunda and booked a taxi driver to take us to Honde Valley. The two dogs Jessica and Penny like to bark but are very peaceful and like to be petted. The cat is also very cuddly. We would come again

Nice place. I stayed two weeks to recover from a cold. Ann and Miss Emma run a very comfortable guest house. In a good location near the center of town. Kitchen facilities are available and breakfast is also available for a small fee.
