Hotels near Ano Mera - Monument to the fallen - Mykonos, Mykonos

Eleni’s village suites was on the last leg of our tour of the Islands in Greece. We arrived in the afternoon and took a transfer(36 euros for 3 people) from the port. One can easily take the local bus which would cost about 1,80 to 2,30 euros, but we didn’t know that then. We were welcomed at the village suites by Ewe and were shown to our accommodation. This was the only place where we stayed that had a stove, cookware, cutlery cups, coffee maker etc. This meant that we could actually prepare meals as eating out in restaurants in Greece can become very expensive as our rand(zar) was 1/20 against the euro. The accommodation was close to the local bus stop. Just down the road was a supermarket which was very inexpensive and we bought all the necessary stuff to have a decent meal which cost less than 15 euros and that was enough for 3 people. Where we paid for a steak 18 euro at the restaurant on the corner. Even though the suites r close enough to the port it is not close enough to walk. We also were served a complimentary buffet breakfast the 2 mornings that we were there. Lovely fruit, cereals, breads, cookies, coffee and juice. U could eat as much as u wanted. We took the bus down to the port and explored Mykonos, old city and little Venice. The area was beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the walkways and the beach. U could also swim . Eleni’s Village suites were very clean and comfortable. WiFi was good especially to connect with family at home. Unfortunately there were no pool at the place as it was quite warm. The surrounding area is quite dry and looks very rural.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Myconian. The staff are super friendly & welcoming. That makes the experience great! We stayed on the 4th floor. So a little stairs required to climb (if you have mobility challenges, please request for a floor that have direct lift access). The compound is beautiful! Especially the view from the balcony is really impressive. We got the room that gets to see the sunset by the sea. The room is clean. We bumped into the housekeeper & she really cleans (pull out all pillow case & blanket cover) everyday! They change the towels during the room clean up & sun down service. If you need a kettle, you have to request from the housekeeping. Water from tap is not drinkable. Only 2 bottles of water is provided per evening after 7pm. Otherwise, you have to use the mini bar or call for room service. Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.

I have traveled all over the world but this by far topped any hotel so far Wish we stayed longer but my mistake on that Drinks food service all top notch. Thank you to the entire staff but I want to point out 2 that stood out the most Maya and Dionisis you made our stay more enjoyable. Everytime we saw you at breakfast or later that evening at the bar you made us feel so good. Maya you were the greatest hostess we could have had. Myself and a friend booked this hotel pretty last minute after seeing such great reviews. It certainly did not disappoint, every member of staff in this hotel is incredible!! They couldn’t be anymore helpful. Special thanks to the reception staff who are available 24/7 via what’s app to book taxis arrange items needed to be brought to the room nothing is a problem, Extra special thanks to Costas the F&B manager. Not enough words can be said about this man he sincerely can not do enough for you, we have never experimented service like it. We were so happy and enjoyed our stay that we extended by an extra night, the hotel gave us a cheaper rate than we could find online and also upgraded our room (our original room was incredible) to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony!! This will be the only hotel we stay at in mykonos, couldn’t recommend enough we have told all our family, friends and colleagues the same. Book book book, you will not be disappointed

I’ve been coming here for 5 years. It has a perfect location, very close to Platys gialos beach. It’s a modern hotel with beautiful rooms. The staff was always helpful and friendly. They always assisted us with all our needs. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Lovely bar and pool. We are delighted to recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering a visit to Mykonos.

Truly the best service I have experienced at a fine hotel. The riviera sets the bar high and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Every staff member was kind, knowledgeable and helpful - day in and day out. They anticipated our needs before we even realized what we needed, and were so helpful and accomodating. Thank you for making our trip so incredible and memorable!

Séjour de 4 nuits dans la suite de l'hôtel, terrasse et vue parfaite. Le personnel est très agréable, de l'accueil, aux services et aux personnels de ménage. Les chambres sont faites et le linge est changé tous les jours. La localisation est un peu excentrée, mais des navettes seabus pour le vieux port sont toutes proches et si besoin le personnel peut vous trouver une location. Le restaurant est de bon rapport qualité-prix et propose un menu tendance asiatique et des sushis délicieux.

From the moment we got there to the moment we left, this was an absolutely exceptional experience. We spent 4 nights at the Amazon and lovely every second. The location was great for us and was in a quieter area in the west, which was nice to get away from the bustle of the main town and the beach clubs, but if you’re looking to be closer to those you may want to explore other hotels as it was a 15 minute ride into town and back and each ride was about 20-25 Euros. Even so, it was well worth it for us because everything about the hotel was superb. Major kudos to Chronis and the rest of the staff for their tremendous hospitality and assistance with arranging transfers and with reservations and recommendations. For room, we had the Eros suite which I very highly recommend if you can get it. Other rooms have a private pool also but ours was the only one that is heated. Also the room was very private and had gorgeous views of the sea and part of the island. The daily breakfast was also exceptional with numerous options to choose from. The pool area was also beautiful and essentially felt like being at a beach club but without the chaos. Overall we cannot say enough great things about Amazon and would definitely stay here again. I only wish we had more time there but alas we had to move on to Santorini. :)
