We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel pre pandemic for a delightful 10-night stay, which prompted us to book again without hesitation. However, due to our Jet2 flight schedule, we decided to extend our stay to 11 nights. Despite a slight delay in our flight, we arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM and were warmly greeted by the reception staff. The driver who picked us up also kindly took our bags to our room. As expected, the room was clean and provided us with a lovely view of the Aegean Sea. Unfortunately, our first night's sleep was disrupted by a group of drunken individuals shouting at each other. However, we understand that such incidents can occur anywhere, and thankfully, the following nights were much quieter. The breakfast options at the hotel were excellent, although the coffee from the machine could have been a touch hotter when selecting a cappuccino. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Mykonos town, as it is just a short walk up the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the pool, basking in the sun. The pool area offers a great selection of comfortable sun loungers, allowing guests to relax and unwind. Additionally, the bar menu provided a variety of delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. We were impressed by the polite, well-dressed, and hard working staff from reception, housekeeping, food service, and bar. One standout employee was Ele, who worked at the poolside bar. He took the time to learn our names and remembered them throughout our stay, providing exceptional service. Another star among the staff was Georgia who works front of house. She tirelessly worked to fulfill a request I had made, demonstrating her dedication to ensuring complete guest satisfaction. In summary, the Ilios Maris hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Mykonos. Our positive experience, coupled with the attentive staff, great amenities, and convenient location, made our stay truly enjoyable. We will be back.

First of all, I have to say Georgia provided us with an amazing experience. She was friendly and always got back to my emails and questions. She was patient with us(being our first time to the island) she recommended us fabulous places to eat and to go for beaches. Also Amelia was always there and very helpful whenever I had a question or needed something. She helped us with our luggage and brought us to and from the sea port. The property is stunning and well kept, very clean. Rooms are great size we saw other friends rooms staying at other places and they were so tiny, our rooms were much bigger and we got the private balcony with hot tub, so worth it! This hotel you have the best view of the sun set right from the property, and also a very nice lounge called the “garden” but it is not noisy and not loud, people come to get a drink and watch the sunset there. Overall everyone here was fantastic and the hotel itself is beautiful! We will stay here again. Thank you!

Our stay at Asty hotel was a fantastic experience. The hotel staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They were even kind enough to manage our reservation for a traditional Greek night and we were seated at the best table. The decoration and atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms were bohemian chic which felt like home, and the location of the hotel being very close to the centre made out trip an amazing experience. The 15-minute complementary massage at the Spa was also incredible. Thank you for everything!

This truly is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had an amazing stay here for 5 nights and it was perfection from beginning to end. The hotel is stunning and is taken such good care of, it is immaculate. The restaurant is very good and all the food is freshly prepared and very tasty. We stayed one night for a BBQ dinner and it was delicious. Breakfast is in such a nice setting within the hotel and the buffet selection is varied as well as being able to select made to order items. The pool area is relaxing and vibrant at the same time with great music played throughout the day. The staff continually ensure you have everything you need. They offer a taxi service that you must use as the guys are very chatty and have some great recommendations on places to go. Do not hesitate to book here. It is right by a small beach and a handful of restaurants. It’s fun watching all the new cruise ships arrive.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

From the moment we got there to the moment we left, this was an absolutely exceptional experience. We spent 4 nights at the Amazon and lovely every second. The location was great for us and was in a quieter area in the west, which was nice to get away from the bustle of the main town and the beach clubs, but if you’re looking to be closer to those you may want to explore other hotels as it was a 15 minute ride into town and back and each ride was about 20-25 Euros. Even so, it was well worth it for us because everything about the hotel was superb. Major kudos to Chronis and the rest of the staff for their tremendous hospitality and assistance with arranging transfers and with reservations and recommendations. For room, we had the Eros suite which I very highly recommend if you can get it. Other rooms have a private pool also but ours was the only one that is heated. Also the room was very private and had gorgeous views of the sea and part of the island. The daily breakfast was also exceptional with numerous options to choose from. The pool area was also beautiful and essentially felt like being at a beach club but without the chaos. Overall we cannot say enough great things about Amazon and would definitely stay here again. I only wish we had more time there but alas we had to move on to Santorini. :)

I usually wait until I get back home to start reviewing places but this hotel was so awesome that I am compelled to share right away. We are a family of 4, our kids are teens. The airport pick up service was smooth, the driver was there when we arrived and we did not need to wait for other people. The check in process actually enjoyable because the front desk is so attentive. The beach area is stunning, the water is crystal clear and the sand is smooth ( no pebbles). The food at the beach restaurant was just ok but the service was fantastic. The rooms are clean and they provide anything that you need as far as toiletries. The bed is comfortable, bathroom water pressure is strong. The breakfast was ok not terrible but it did the job. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a nice beach, clean facilities, friendly service. This is not the hotel to party but there ate several beach clubs walking distance.

The feeling of home, not anxious

I stayed in Branco Mykonos for five days in June and stayed in the superior room with a sea view. It was an amazing stay. The room itself was pleasing and the bed was very comfortable. There was not much storage or counter space but we made it work. There was a small window that faced directly to the sea but our balcony which was on the side of the room had a view of the sea and hillside overlooking the pool, beach and bar area. My room was close to where the DJ was and the music did not disturb me one bit. I had a lot of trepidation after I booked this hotel because I saw many reviews complaining about the loud music. But when I went in June, the music was never so loud that it was bothersome. In fact the morning had really soothing jazzy type of music until around noon. The music got more energetic during the day when the beach club was in full swing but by evening everything was back to normal. Most people went out to dinner in town or elsewhere and I couldn’t hear any music from my room. If you are a person who doesn’t want any music at all then maybe this isn’t the place for you but most places had some type of music playing during the day. Breakfast every morning was prepared to order and was delicious. It was a perfect start to the day in their outdoor restaurant which faces a beautiful beach with small yachts and catamarans. The food and drinks were very pricey which is not unusual for a beach club but probably a little more so because this location is one of the best ones we saw while we were there. It was the most luxurious one on this ***** of beach. But the presentation of the food was quite impressive. The cocktail prices were as steep as NYC martini prices but they were very good. But to keep within our budget we stuck to drinking beer, Greek wine and fredo cappuccinos which were delicious while on the beach. We preferred to eat authentic Greek food at tavernas a little outside the area and the hotel gave us good recommendations. There is a very nice trail that you can walk on for breathtaking views that takes you near the next beach town and other restaurants. We ate at Tasos which I highly recommend. Branco Mykonos is also very convenient to get to Little Venice for sunsets. A private cab to Mykonos old town for about $40 can be arranged by the hotel upon request and a bus which was around $4 euros a person was also super easy to take as well near the hotel. The beach on the property had luxurious beach accommodations for guests. The chairs were so comfortable with nice plush orange towels and pillows if you needed. The first row was reserved for day guests or people who paid extra for the front row. But second row was just as good and there was plenty of seating everywhere. It was so nice to go to a beach resort where you didn’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn to reserve a chair or pay a worker to do it for you.
