This hotel is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-equipped and with beautiful views of the sea. The restaurant by the pool side is lovely, the cuisine is delicious, the staff is so attentive and the service is impeccable. The music playing all day long by the poolside makes the experience even better. Total Club Med vibe! The housekeeping staff, the reception staff are all so generous with their time and service, always smiling and ready to please the customers. Special mention must be accorded to dear Elsa, who was super nice and went out of her way to make us all feel so welcome. She made our stay super special with her generosity and support. She's a keeper!

Myself and a friend booked this hotel pretty last minute after seeing such great reviews. It certainly did not disappoint, every member of staff in this hotel is incredible!! They couldn’t be anymore helpful.
Special thanks to the reception staff who are available 24/7 via what’s app to book taxis arrange items needed to be brought to the room nothing is a problem, Extra special thanks to Costas the F&B manager. Not enough words can be said about this man he sincerely can not do enough for you, we have never experimented service like it.
We were so happy and enjoyed our stay that we extended by an extra night, the hotel gave us a cheaper rate than we could find online and also upgraded our room (our original room was incredible) to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony!!
This will be the only hotel we stay at in mykonos, couldn’t recommend enough we have told all our family, friends and colleagues the same.

Truly the best service I have experienced at a fine hotel. The riviera sets the bar high and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Eleni’s village suites was on the last leg of our tour of the Islands in Greece. We arrived in the afternoon and took a transfer(36 euros for 3 people) from the port. One can easily take the local bus which would cost about 1,80 to 2,30 euros, but we didn’t know that then. We were welcomed at the village suites by Ewe and were shown to our accommodation. This was the only place where we stayed that had a stove, cookware, cutlery cups, coffee maker etc. This meant that we could actually prepare meals as eating out in restaurants in Greece can become very expensive as our rand(zar) was 1/20 against the euro. The accommodation was close to the local bus stop. Just down the road was a supermarket which was very inexpensive and we bought all the necessary stuff to have a decent meal which cost less than 15 euros and that was enough for 3 people. Where we paid for a steak 18 euro at the restaurant on the corner. Even though the suites r close enough to the port it is not close enough to walk. We also were served a complimentary buffet breakfast the 2 mornings that we were there. Lovely fruit, cereals, breads, cookies, coffee and juice. U could eat as much as u wanted. We took the bus down to the port and explored Mykonos, old city and little Venice. The area was beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the walkways and the beach. U could also swim . Eleni’s Village suites were very clean and comfortable. WiFi was good especially to connect with family at home. Unfortunately there were no pool at the place as it was quite warm. The surrounding area is quite dry and looks very rural.

From the moment we got there to the moment we left, this was an absolutely exceptional experience. We spent 4 nights at the Amazon and lovely every second. The location was great for us and was in a quieter area in the west, which was nice to get away from the bustle of the main town and the beach clubs, but if you’re looking to be closer to those you may want to explore other hotels as it was a 15 minute ride into town and back and each ride was about 20-25 Euros. Even so, it was well worth it for us because everything about the hotel was superb. Major kudos to Chronis and the rest of the staff for their tremendous hospitality and assistance with arranging transfers and with reservations and recommendations. For room, we had the Eros suite which I very highly recommend if you can get it. Other rooms have a private pool also but ours was the only one that is heated. Also the room was very private and had gorgeous views of the sea and part of the island. The daily breakfast was also exceptional with numerous options to choose from. The pool area was also beautiful and essentially felt like being at a beach club but without the chaos. Overall we cannot say enough great things about Amazon and would definitely stay here again. I only wish we had more time there but alas we had to move on to Santorini. :)

I have traveled all over the world but this by far topped any hotel so far Wish we stayed longer but my mistake on that Drinks food service all top notch. We spend 4 days there after an offer from Secret Escapes that looked good. The Hotel had only been opened a week before we arrived (no mention of that in the Secret Escapes offer) and it was DEFINITELY not ready. Lovely bar space but not open. The restaurant was, at best, average (had the worst pizza ever there, as the choice of dishes was limited) and certainly not a 4 star. Short of staff even though the ones available did their best to compensate. Definitely need a car to go anywhere which, in Mykonos, is very expensive. Taxi to Mykonos town 45 euros. Not a lot near by apart of two beach bars/restaurants with high prices. We we recommended to go the Ano Mera, a small village, 20 euros ride away, as the choice of food and atmosphere in the hotel was poor. Lots of touristy restaurants there but not very good. (see restaurant reviews). Michelle, the manager, was excellent and did her best and so did the two lovely receptionist (both 3rd year students of the Tourist college in Athens, not what you expect for a 4* hotel). The boy that served the food in the restaurant doubled up as drink waiter in the bar ( if you insisted) and luggage handler together with the girl receptionists!!! Our room was a large suit with an outdoor jacuzzi but needed a lot of work still doing to it. Perhaps this time next year it will be a good place to stay but Secret Escapes should be a lot more careful what the offer. Not to mention we found out that we cold have had a better deal even directly with the hotel.

Excellent venue if you are looking for a hotel away from all the party / noise / crowds. It’s also in a safe and walkable area with grocery store, bakery, many nearby restaurant options and beachfront bars/restaurants. The staff (Filippa & George & cleaning staff) are so welcoming and friendly. They all work so hard to keep the property very clean and perfect condition. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable bed. Our suite also had a private patio which overlooked the water, very romantic and perfect for enjoying the complimentary breakfast that is delivered to your door. Waves is about a 10min safe walk to Ornos beach which you can sit in the sand, swim & rent sun beds. You can also simply take the water taxi from Ornos beach to multiple other southern beaches. This is a superb way to see more if the island without renting a car plus you get many more picturesque moments. Single beach round trip €15 each person or unlimited beach round trips €20 each person. We chose to only go to SUPER paradise beach for 1 day and this was an excellent choice. Read my review about THALAS TAVERN & BEACH. This was much much cheaper than alternatives and excellent food/sun beds at reasonable prices. Ornos and Super are southern so it’s not windy. Mykonos is a windy island (mostly from north during our stay), it is famous for this but most of the wind we found cooled us down from all the sunny heat so I would not complain about this at all…This hotel sits at a famous windsurfing and kite boarding beach…relax at the pool and watch these people launch off the waves 20-40 feet in the air. It’s amazing!!! This hotel even offers complimentary transfers (pick up / drop off) from and to the airport, port and their other hotel locations which is closer to downtown Mykonos if you want to your the streets and party. We stayed 4 unforgettable nights here and loved every moment of this part of our Greece adventure.

GGuest UserThis hotel is pretty good. If you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle and face the sea, this is a very good choice. The breakfast is also very rich and delicious. The only disadvantage is that the traffic is far away. It costs about 30 Euros to go to the town, and the taxi fee is relatively high expensive. However, the hotel has a swimming pool and a gym, and the rooms have large balconies, where you can see the blue sea at a glance

NNomad05718661342We loved this hotel. The welcome was very warm and overall, the service was very good. The views from the hotel are wonderful, across to the old port and the new one too. Watching the boats go in and out and the white capped waves was lovely. Our room was great – a deluxe with plunge pool (room 101) – it was spacious, with a nice terrace and pool to enjoy the sunshine until late afternoon. Nicely furnished with a big comfortable coco mat bed/pillows and good shutters, ensured we slept well. The main outdoor pool is stunning, a huge infinity pool that seems to connect to the ocean below. There were lots of comfy sunbeds, although the ones around the pool weren’t adjustable. The Reeza restaurant area is nice, and we enjoyed lunch and a wonderful dinner too, possibly one of the best of our holiday. The food quality was excellent and George’s wine advice was on point and made the whole evening very special. Breakfast was ‘OK’ – food choices were pretty standard; orange juice wasn’t freshly squeezed, and the coffee wasn’t great. Why don’t hotels of this quality take more care of the coffee they serve? The gym/yoga shala was nice and the views across the ocean truly stunning. The lack of a/c and no ability to turn off the music playing outside was a shame. It was also quite dusty on the floor and on the machines. Talking of music, the style was rather inconsistent and some of it was rather strange and rather loud at times when you were eating or wanting an afternoon snooze by the pool. The hotel location is good. It’s a 10-minute taxi ride into the main town, although taxi availability and prices are very high. There is a nice little beach nearby and a small supermarket about 5-10 mins walk away too. Overall, it’s nicely designed, with unique touches like the cactus everywhere makes it feel unique.

We stayed on the 4th floor. So a little stairs required to climb (if you have mobility challenges, please request for a floor that have direct lift access).
The compound is beautiful! Especially the view from the balcony is really impressive. We got the room that gets to see the sunset by the sea.
The room is clean. We bumped into the housekeeper & she really cleans (pull out all pillow case & blanket cover) everyday! They change the towels during the room clean up & sun down service.
If you need a kettle, you have to request from the housekeeping. Water from tap is not drinkable. Only 2 bottles of water is provided per evening after 7pm. Otherwise, you have to use the mini bar or call for room service.
Otherwise, it was a beautiful stay.

LLau Wing HinI have booked quite late so the price is not beautiful. I expect it to be a 4 star hotel but the room size and furniture is not deserving 4 star. The service was very nice I had a late check in they still processed immediately and brought us to the room. They have shuttle bus for leaving so I will say the service is perfect.The sea view is far away I thought it should be closer, which means the hotel is far away from the town about 15 mins walk. The pool for this hotel is good, breakfast was ok nothing special to mention. I recommend to book another hotel if you are not a last minute person.

GGuest UserThis is such a beautiful hotel with amazing views of the island! The staff where extremely friendly and accommodating which made our stay very enjoyable. I had a bit of an issue with my room when I checked in but they more than made up for it by upgrading us to a lovely spacious suite with Jacuzzi. It was my birthday and they helped make it extra special by decorating the room with rose petals and balloons and even helped my boyfriend get a cake! It was a very memorable trip and I would definitely come back!

New and gorgeous room! Private soaker pool was perfect! Food from room service was all we had and didn't bother to explore Mykonos due to the luxury right there in our room! We got lucky on this room and would highly recommend if you're looking to have some of the most unforgettable and relaxing moments of your life. But if you're there to explore Mykonos, you may want to choose somewhere not as nice as you will not want to leave your villa. The people were quick and friendly and there to assist at any time. Truly was an amazing experience all around!

GGuest UserWe loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

柳柳舫芊谷The hotel is great, has a pool, and watching the sea swim in the pool is great. The hotel is also very beautiful, there is a large terrace overlooking the sea, which is especially pleasant. Breakfast is also very good, clean and the scenery is good. It is a little distance from the old city, but it is acceptable. Great value for money!
