Hotels near Saint Anna, Mykonos

Very clean rooms and very comfortable with wonderful sea view. The staff was very polite. The hotel is modern and the decoration was fantastic. This is the second time that i visited penelope with my wife and after the renovation the hotel was beyond our expectations. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!!!

The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful with local recommendations and assisted with transfers, reservations and other matters. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Drink and food options were perfect for our needs. A la Carter breakfast and coffee menu each morning were spot on.

A highly recommended hotel, located in a relatively fresh and artistic hotel in the central area of Mykonos. The tourism resources of Mykonos are not as good as Santorini, so the consumption here is still relatively high, and the flow of tourists is not as good as that of Santorini. Therefore, the prices are relatively high. This hotel is reasonably priced and the environmental facilities are very good. The front desk of the hotel is also very enthusiastic. The map circle is also fun to check in. If you go to other places to play by car and catch a plane, it will be arranged properly. Go to him Home is right

Staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Every request we made was handled positively and efficiently. Chairs for our balcony, printing ferry passes, directions, suggestions, transfers to/from ferry dock, etc. Room was nicely cleaned every morning. Pool bartender was perfect, bringing towels, pointing out HH specials, setting us up with wine ice bucket and plastic wine glasses for our room, etc. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of variety. We dined in the Restaurant one night and food was tasty, and waiter was smart, efficient, and attentive. The walk to/from town wasn’t that much of an issue, but make sure stairs to your room won’t be an issue because there can be many based on your room location. The hotel has several vertical levels. We really enjoyed our stay and do/can recommend this hotel, mainly because everyone was so service-oriented.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The staff were amazing. Special mention to Joseph the driver, alway happy, informative, a real asset to the hotel. Claudia In concierge was also superb, thank you. Pool staff very attentive as were restaurant staff. Hotel amenities were great although I would not call our bedroom 5 star, bathroom rather tired and in need of upgrade. Pool restaurant was good as was the main dining room, although I felt it was rather overpriced for what you got. One bug bear was if you ask for a single glass of red wine in the restaurant it arrives COLD! That’s a complete no no. Please do something about that. I know it’s minor but nothing worse than cold red wine! Thank you for our relaxing break. We loved it at St John. All in all a lovely hotel and I would not hesitate to come back.

I will start with the good things about this hotel. No brainer it's the staff. Our room was spotlessly clean every day by Dominica who was a ray of sunshine. Clean towels every day, bottled water and toiletries were replenished too. Our thanks go to Vivienne, Stephen and Dimitri who worked every day with smiles and couldn't do enough for you around the pool/ restaurant.The girls in reception were very friendly and helpful, although we thought on check out asking if we wanted to add a tip to our bill for the reception team was a bit much!! No, we tipped by cash to those who we felt deserved it. The pool is lovely, comfortable loungers but they get taken early so get down there. Also pool towels are available. Breakfast - nice choice, something for everyone, lovely coffee. On a previous review someone said no toaster...yes there is one now. Decent supermarket literally 2 minutes away and 2 decent restaurants, Philotimo and oregano. Lovely beach at Kalo Livadi about 15 minutes away. Sandy beach with clear water. You can sit anywhere on the public beach or pay a hefty charge for loungers but highly recommend. Mykonos town was lovely, good choice for shopping and restaurants/bars. Now not so good - location. The hotel is 50 metres from a very busy and dangerous T-junction. The road to the town is very steep and winding with no pavements. Don't be fooled into thinking you will be able to safely walk it in 10-15 minutes. The road is very busy. Forget attempting to walk back. Taxis are expensive minimum 45/50 euros each way to and from airport for a short journey. Huge tip download i-move Mykonos for the local Uber type app. We waited no more than 2 minutes every time. Drivers were great and better value. Just to be clear before we booked we knew the hotel was at the top of a hill but on reflection we weren't prepared for the high cost of transport to get about.The hotel is literally under the flight path out of the airport...very noisy at times.. last flight is after midnight. Constant flights all day. We thought the hotel restaurant prices were high (same as most in town) but portion size and quality good although menu doesn't change. Shame but the waiting staff some nights had not alot to do because the restaurant is expensive and lacks atmosphere because it is also the breakfast room and people just don't eat there because no effort is made to make it look like an evening venue - no change from breakfast and/or lunch. The bar is in the breakfast room too not very appealing to spend an evening there. Introduce happy hour do something!! Get some comfortable chairs!! Also this hotel is really not suitable for older children/teenagers as there is NOTHING for them here apart from the pool. Now to our first room. The location is very good, 5 minutes walk from the beach, that beach is also very convenient, surrounded by restaurants. The hotel's mattress is too bad, and then I don't know what noise, from the night to the second day, what machine has been buzzing. I didn't ask because the language was not available. The key is placed in the country and can communicate. I must ask what noise has been noisy. Overall, it's okay! Anyway, these two shortcomings are intolerable.

The hotel belongs to Aegean Collection and will open in 2020. Convenient location, just in Mykonos Town. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Windmill of Mykonos, Little Venice, I Love Mykonos staircase and other snorkeling places. There are also many restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to Mykonos Old Town Pier, and you can take the Sea Bus to New Port and take a boat to Naxos, Santorini and other places. The hotel does not have a parking lot 🅿️, and there is a chance to not drive 🚗 to Old Town during busy hours. There is free parking nearby, but it is difficult to find a parking place. There is also a paid parking lot, more than €10 parking once, and it is not free to enter and exit. So if you are traveling by car, think about how you can put down your luggage in your car to the hotel and drive to other places to play. When checking in, the hotel staff gave us a map and a little introduction to where Mykonos can go. We also informed us that the restaurant downstairs in the hotel has discounts for guests. The room is on the second floor, it is wide, you can open 2 large suitcases at the same time. There is a small terrace with 2 rubber scales, you can sit on the terrace and enjoy a little sea view. Implementing the Greek wind, the main color of the room is blue and white. A painting of Mykonos is hung on the wall. There is a coffee machine in the room, and Nespresso coffee capsules and tea bags are provided. The bathroom has a small decoration shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrush and so on. The cylinder position of the enterprise is the same as most hotels in Greece. Glass only accounts for half of the cylinder position, so when showering 🚿, the water will bounce outward. Mykonos at night is getting more and more prosperous, and I feel a lot of party animals . So the hotel downstairs is also a bit noisy. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, this was an absolutely exceptional experience. We spent 4 nights at the Amazon and lovely every second. The location was great for us and was in a quieter area in the west, which was nice to get away from the bustle of the main town and the beach clubs, but if you’re looking to be closer to those you may want to explore other hotels as it was a 15 minute ride into town and back and each ride was about 20-25 Euros. Even so, it was well worth it for us because everything about the hotel was superb. Major kudos to Chronis and the rest of the staff for their tremendous hospitality and assistance with arranging transfers and with reservations and recommendations. For room, we had the Eros suite which I very highly recommend if you can get it. Other rooms have a private pool also but ours was the only one that is heated. Also the room was very private and had gorgeous views of the sea and part of the island. The daily breakfast was also exceptional with numerous options to choose from. The pool area was also beautiful and essentially felt like being at a beach club but without the chaos. Overall we cannot say enough great things about Amazon and would definitely stay here again. I only wish we had more time there but alas we had to move on to Santorini. :)
