If you are looking for a relaxing break away in the bush, this is the place you want to visit. Neat spacious family rooms, excellent food, friendly helpfull staff. Our youngest son played cricket at Jebaweni and this location is only 10min drive from the sports venue.

The service you receive can make or break the comfort of your stay! At Zwahili we have received the very best service from all their staff members! I highly recommend Zwahili Private Game Lodge. We came here to rest and take a break from our busy life's, and we did just that. We rested and relaxed. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We came for a special mother & daughter 2 day getaway. From the moment we arrived we were treated like queens! Incredible attentive staff, immaculate private accommodation & delicous food in the most beautiful safari / bush location you can imagine. I come from a hospitality background so was extremely impressed with their attention to detail! Our game drive & guided walk was so memorable & very special. Thank you to Piet, Lettah & Tanya!

Friendly and very polite reception received from Charity. Piet was quick to assist us with our bags. Royal African suite is great. The Chef in this restaurant is fantastic, food was awesome. The private dinner served in our suite on the second evening was great. The game drive was just as great. All though not a big 5 reserve, we saw plenty of wild life. In a whole, what a great lodge. Well done to every staff member as they were all great. Will highly recommend this lodge.

Zwahili was amazing! From the moment I drove into the gates I knew I’d love the experience. I stayed in one of the tents and my stay was out of this world. The peace! The food prepared by a Female, African Chef! I could go on and on!

1. staff a ttitude=100%. very helpful staff who listen and are prepared to go an extra mile. Piet & Letta were the stars.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 2. The establishment is OK. I think it can be renovated. We stayed in the Presidential suite (African Royalty) I expected more. -The toilet wash basin had No soap to wash hands. - The shower had no cap or gel It is just little things that can add value, especially for the pricing bracket. I had indicated that we are coming through to celebrate my husband's birthday, so I kinda expected something more. I'm writing as someone who has stayed in establishments that are in the same price range & got more opulence for that. I just think Zwahili is for the offering. Nothing the staff can change. Thanks. We booked a weekend away to Zwahili for some much needed rest and relaxation. Upon arrival, the manager, Charity, was unbelievably rude. We were treated like school children, being told to sit and wait in the conference room to check in, not being attended to for 30 minutes, and then scolded when fetching our child from the viewing deck. We were shown to our room, which was fine. The toilet that is open and only enclosed by some wooden slats was a bit uncomfortable. Zwahili claims that children of all ages are welcome, but littles are clearly not welcome. No accommodations are offered for them at all. At other lodges where we stayed with our child, shorter bush drives were offered as to not bother the other guests. The manager offered to watch my child (after saying that my child will probably cry the entire time!) so that I can go on a game drive. There was no way I would ever leave my child alone with her. I contacted the agency through whom we booked the stay, and alerted them to the fact that we were unhappy with the service received so far. The manager then came to our unit, and she was quite confronting. I was extremely uneasy with the situation, but she did make an effort to make us feel more welcome after that. All in all, spend your money somewhere else. For the price they charge, it’s not value for money. There is basically no game viewing what so ever, the unit we stayed is due for new furniture and some general refurbishment, and all drinks are extra.

What an amazing weekend! Charity went out of her way to make our stay magical. The staff were incredible, we did a few game drives and we did a bush walk that was incredible (Thank you Janke!) Would definitely reccommend.
