Wir hatten zu 6 Personen ein Krimidinner p. E-mail gebucht. So hatte ich meistens auch h Restaurantbuchungen erledigt. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal dort. Die Buchung wurde verschlampt und wir standen nicht auf der Gästeliste. Schuldeingeständnis aber keine Lösung oder Idee. Der Chef selbst hatte die Buchungs E-mail bestätigt. An dem Abend hat er uns schulterzuckend weggeschickt. Sehr Borniert.

What an amazing place, the area is beautiful the hotel is to the highest standards. My colleague and I discussed that this is likely the best hotel (at least in the top 5) we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We travel for business. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, the service superb. It’s not often I say it but the stay was absolutely faultless. Take a bow Schloss Hotel Holzrichter you deserve a round of applause.

Wir waren mit dem Oldtimer zu eine sommerlichen abendliche Ausfahrt unterwegs und haben im gepflegten Biergarten gegessen. Das Bier war sehr lecker und gut gezapft. Als kleine Vorspeise hatten wir uns ein Thunfischtartar geteilt. Stolze 20 € verlangt man dafür. Das war es nun nicht wert. Der Teller war nett angemacht, wenngleich vmtl. die Wazabi Majonaise einen sehr künstlichen Eindruck auf mich machte. Dazu war das Tartar nicht Steakrot sondern grau, also nicht frisch und mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 5 cm hätte es eher für ein Amuse Geule hergehalten. wir haben beide Wild gegessen! Das Wildgoulasch mit den „geheimen Gewützen“ war durchgehend leckerung gut abgeschmeckt. Auch der Apfelkompott war frisch zubereitet. Meine Wildschweinkeule war reichlich 3(Scheiben) dafür war die Sauce recht fad und für mich als zwei Zentner Mann waren drei Pommes Dauphine etwas mager. Warum man Rotkohl, der gut gewürzt war, in einer Mehlschwitze ertränken muss, erschliesst sich mir nicht! Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden, auch wegen des sehr freundlichen Service Personals. Die Preise wären okay, wenn alles 100% gepasst hätte!

We were guests at the musical dinner at the Schloss Hotel Holzrichter and had a really wonderful evening there. In addition to the fantastic singers, there was an excellent 4-course meal and first-class service. The staff are very friendly and competent and do a great job - congratulations to these service staff. This evening was so entertaining and fun - this combination of music and menu - it was just perfect and is already one of my highlights of the year - many thanks to the whole team.
