Competitively priced, good quality, and convenient location. This hotel is a couple of streets away from the main Nagoya station with access to JR, Meitetsu, subway, an Aonami lines, which should cover most of the major sights and coming from/going to the airport. It is also very close to the pick up point for many day tours. One minor issue is that if you approach from one side of the hotel, its name sign is obscured by a tree, which could make finding it difficult the first time you visit. There is actually another Via Inn a couple of streets away and if you pop in to ask them where this hotel is, they will help show you the way. Hotel room is about standard size for Japanese business hotels and clean. Air con takes a little while to start up but is certainly adequate and much appreciated during the hot summer. Staff are friendly and efficient when checking in and out. They are happy for you to leave your luggage there after checking out as long as you pick it up the same day. Tea bags and drip coffee are complimentary, with self-serve refills on the ground floor. Ice machine is on the second floor as are four washing machines, although these are very popular and usually fully utilised with a queue of people waiting too. Guest mix is mainly mainland Chinese and Hong Kongers with the occasional Japanese. There are many places to eat in the surrounding streets, including izakayas, Korean BBQ, Chinese, and many Indian/Nepali places. The restaurants/pubs can be quite lively at night with people spilling into the streets to eat/drink/chat with their friends. In addition to the big malls above the JR station, there is a Bic Camera and 100 yen store down the street from the hotel, many convenience stores, and a 24-hour supermarket and drugstore a short walk away.

Very happy with this hotel, closeby the Stn and tons of food option (though its mostly izakaya) konbini etc., the area is very lively at night. The room is spacious, suitable for a couple but may be small for a family of 3, clean bathroom and the laundry room within the building is convenient and easy to use. Definitely value for money!

Location is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.

Nice and super convenient near JR Station Hotel. We did forward parcel to the same Via Inn in Osaka from the Nagoya Via Inn Hotel. The set breakfast with bun and coffee buffet corner services is very nice! This hotel is recommended by my friend. We will come again definitely for the next visit.

Good location to access, as a city hotel. Compact, yet comfortable and charged with friendly and reasonable price. Especially, the breakfast was remarkably good. Looking forward to another stay.

Very good hotel services near Nagoya Station and many resturants. Room is too small made me feeling narrow but it's ok for just having a night sleep. All amenities are perfect good for everyday using. Easy to check-in and check-out.

All up to expectation! It is greatly convenient, with a few steps to many many local restaurants and convenient stores. And we are also near to main train station, making everything convenient.

What a fantastic location! We were without WiFi after spending 6 weeks with Japanese Pocket Wi-Fi's our hosts had kindly provided. We wanted somewhere close to Nagoya train station where we were to spend a night before we left the next day for the Airport. It was perfect. We screenshot the route from the station and the question of where to exit it (it was Westgate exit) Then seriously, it was 4 min walk from the train (you could see the station entrance from our top floor windows), we went back there for dinner underneath it that night (Nagoya Kitchen, yum....) and bought our train tickets there then for the next day to save time. The staff at Via Inn spoke perfect English (even though we have been practicing our Japanese!), lent us umbrellas for the rain to get to dinner, WiFi at the Hotel was included, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and personal items as well. The room was exactly what we needed for the night, clean, with a great shower, a window that opened and all for a sensational price. C'mon! What more could you ask for! Thank you Via Inn!

The hotel location is very convenient with lots of restaurants nearby even in mid night Cox we arrived a bit late. It also closed to Nagoya JR Station. If you want to join local tour like Shiramizu, the gathering point is just 5 mins walking distance. The staff there are nice and professional. One thing that made not perfect is the birdy sound from the traffic light especially at night. But overall it deserved to come here again.

Excellent location with minutes to the train terminals , underground shopping alley, major shopping and dining areas. A typical business hotel at town center which provides minimal leisure facilities. Anyhow, the hotel lobby is redecorated for a more trendy look and relaxing atmosphere. I have a good city view from my room. I appreciate the hotel green policy for room cleaning which reduce wastage and at the same time, being guest friendly (less interruption). Public parking in the neighborhood is abundant, and competitive, and I managed to locate one which only charges 200 Yen for overnight till 7am. Truly unbelievable.
