There was no smoking/non-smoking sign, so I requested a non-smoking room just to be sure, and made a reservation three weeks before the stay. When the reservation was confirmed, I thought there would be no problem because there was no particular discussion, but three days before the stay, I received an email saying that the non-smoking rooms were already fully booked, so they would prepare a smoking room. I was very troubled by this contact, as the free cancellation deadline was approaching, and many alternative hotels were already fully booked, and I feel that they were malicious, as if they were hoping that I would be lucky if I had not noticed the email and canceled. Since it said "already fully booked," did they accept the reservation? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but this is the first time I have experienced such a careless response to smoking separation. Was it because I made the reservation on a cheap website that they put it off? I don't know what they really meant, but this hotel does not value customer requests and reservations, so I think you should be careful when making reservations. It's a shame because the hotel has high reviews on various websites.
