The budget hotel was basic but served its purpose well. The room was small and amenities were minimal, yet it was clean and conveniently located. Ideal for solo travelers.

Very close to Nagoya station. The cheapest hostel with private room in the whole Nagoya. Pretty strong internet. But the checkout time was at 9:00 am, and the bathroom closes at 8:00 am, so you should wake at 7:00 am, if you get used to shower in the morning like me.

The room is suitable, the service is friendly, and the place is clean. The only drawback is that there seems to be a large ventilator on each floor, which makes a lot of noise and is almost never turned off all night. It is not recommended for people with poor sleep.

Outstanding

The basic accommodation requirements are met, there is a shared bathroom, and the room is large enough for one person to sleep in. The price is unbeatable on weekends, and it is worth considering as the prices of surrounding hotels are skyrocketing.

It's relatively close to Nagoya Station and very convenient for business use.
The facilities are very old and simple, but the rooms are private and you can relax comfortably.
The lady at the front desk is very nice.

There were no bugs, which I was worried about.
The facilities were quite old, but clean.
The bathtub is only available on weekdays. On weekends, you can use the shower until the morning. The shower is for three people, and you have to close the curtain while showering. It is available until 8am.
The walls are very thin, and you can even hear the person in the next room breathing, but your privacy is maintained.
The futon is on the hard side, but you can sleep soundly.
They also lent me an iPhone charger.

Very close to Nagoya Station, 7-8 minutes walk, good quality and low price. I have my own room without being disturbed. The aunt at the front desk is very kind.

This is the second time I stayed at the Shochikumei Hotel. The hotel seems to be a renovation of the former workers' dormitory. It is within a ten-minute walk from Nagoya Station. It is two stops away from Sakae Station, and the transportation is very convenient.
The hotel room is small, but very clean, and disposable toothbrushes and slippers are provided.
The bathroom and toilet are public, relatively clean and sanitary. I will stay here again next time, mainly because it is cost-effective.

There were some areas that were not very clean, but considering the location and price, I think it was great value for money.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Nagoya Station to the hotel. It looks like a dormitory where factory workers lived in the early years, and the internal facilities are basically at the level of 20 years ago. Judging from the decorative paintings and the employees who came out to receive guests, the operator seems to be Jewish.
When checking in, you can get your registration card at the front desk and press the doorbell on the window to call the waiter.
The rooms are separated by partitions, and the sound insulation is almost non-existent. Considering the price, just treat it as a high-speed rail soft sleeper car. The sanitary environment is average, and the room is clean and odorless.
[Note]
#The hot water faucet in the public washroom can only release boiling water, and you need to prepare a washbasin with cold water.
#There are no extra sockets in the room to charge mobile phones. You can unplug the TV and use it, and remember to plug it back after use.
#Check out at 9 am, and you can leave by leaving the key in the small box nailed to the wall in the room.
