Dirty rooms - unfriendly looks from housekeeping. Air conditioning made so much noise we couldn’t sleep could hear everyone flush their toilets in every room. Very annoying. They charge a high price because of beach. But pictures must be from when it first opened in 1980.

This hotel is the best and most affordable in OBX. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is clean. The outdoor showers are great for cleaning off your beach items. Plenty of covered parking. Breakfast is great! Staff help accommodate filling large coolers before your departure. Awesome staff!
