Tokyu Stay Okinawa Naha

When I was booking a hotel in Okinawa, I did some research, and most recommendations pointed to Tokyu REI, mainly because of its great location. But this hotel is even closer to Tsubogawa Station and has bigger rooms. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven just 200m away with a wide selection of items. As for the room amenities, all the toiletries are Refa, and so is the hairdryer. My hair felt incredibly smooth after using them... I absolutely loved it and I'm totally sold! I'm planning to get a set to take back home, but I'm not sure where to buy them in Okinawa. If any of you know, please let me know! [blushing emoji] The room also comes with a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic! The humidity on this island is so high, so it was great to be able to wash and dry clothes the same day. They even provide laundry detergent – it's a spray-type concentrated detergent and smells really good! A microwave and fridge are also essential in the room. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so we bought rice balls and sandwiches from 7-Eleven and heated them up in the room's microwave. Although the hotel doesn't provide bottled water, there's a water dispenser on the 5th floor with hot, warm, and cold water, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with kids! There's also a coffee machine nearby [selfie emoji]

I've stayed at Tokyu Stay hotels before, and the 30-square-meter rooms in Fukuoka are significantly larger than those in Okinawa. When checking in, even though I booked a triple room, the front desk repeatedly insisted I switch to a double room, which I reluctantly agreed to. The new room had no view, just buildings outside the window. The air purifier was broken, and even after asking the front desk to replace it, the new one was also faulty. Finally, when checking out, I asked the front desk to call a taxi for the airport, but they told me to go downstairs and hail one myself. The service was definitely lacking.

Right downstairs is Don Quijote, a Donki lover's dream! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the high-floor views are great. Plus, the washing machine even has a dryer function.

Compared to other hotels, this triple room is quite spacious (though still a bit small, but you can open three suitcases without a problem). You can also borrow pots to cook, and there's a Don Quijote and a supermarket downstairs, making it very convenient to buy ingredients. It's a bit of a walk from Kokusai Dori, but acceptable, about 20 minutes on foot.

The room is spacious enough for three large suitcases and has a microwave. I really appreciated the free coffee machine at the hotel (though it's not 24/7). Plus, the Refa toiletries provided are excellent! They also offer complimentary facial cleansers, lotions, and toners for guests to take, and there's a washing machine in the room. It's also super convenient to walk to Kokusai Dori. I highly recommend this place and will definitely choose them again next time I'm in Okinawa!
