Hotel Himalaya has a perfect location with a wonderful view. It is close to Nainital entrance and accessible by road and taxi can reach directly, plus it has a big parking space. Boating point, taxi stand, mall road is all just 2 mins walk. Rooms have a very good view. Food is very good including breakfast buffet. Decor is good and Heritage rooms have a rustic feel. Ample area for Kids to play and move around. Staff was very courteous and responsive. Mr Naveen, Mr Bishan and entire staff were very helpful. Thanks to the Hotel staff for a memorable stay.

It was a pleasant experience. Property has nice ambience with greenery around …small garden area to relax a bit. We had breakfast, it was good. Staff behaviour was amicable. Few minor things to improve - Rat creeped into our room, that gives a bit bad picture. Hotel management can do something to avoid such experiences. Property has nice rooms ( we had a family suite). It’s about 1 KM away from Mall Road. So either you walk down or take a taxi back and forth. In peak season , taxi fares go very high around ₹200 each side. Plus, when you have to come back , it’s a climb toward hotel. If there are old age people, that becomes bit of a challenge & then only option is to take a cab, specially in the evening when you are tired after roaming around whole day. Overall experience is Good & I will suggest this hotel compare to hotels on Mall Road which charge so high room rents and offer very bad experiences in all aspects. It has its own car parking , which is a plus point.

As a solo traveller, I found the property and host very safe and supportive. My stay was for about a week - I visited nearby temples like Ghorakhal mandir and Kainchi Dham, lovely cafes and exotic offbeat places nearby Nainital with the cab facility provided by the hosts. Coming to the amenities, everything was well versed in my room. The rooms are large and spacious with attached washroom and balcony. I especially loved the hygiene and cleanliness, which Im very particular about as a female. The food was also homely and delicious and didnt feel like hotelish at all. Overall, my stay was worth the price and Im super satisfied. Would definitely come again and recommend the place to all. Ps: This is a photo taken from my room window at the time of snowfall :)

Stay at ramshila is an amazing experience. Thapa ji and ram gave good service on food order which was delicious. Cleanliness is top notch. Kitchen is fully equipped, you just need to bring in stuff for food preparation if you prefer to by yourself. Location is away from traffic and good hight. Kaichi dham is not very far from this place. Overall had good experience. Highly recommended for families.
