I booked a room in hotel jai guru for my stay on 9 june to 10 june. Om g what a terrible experience there. 4 pm i asked for tea and snacks. They said 5 bje ke baad mil jayega apko abhi staff nhi. Then 6 bje gye no response. Neche reception pe call kra kehte aara hai then 7. 15 pm kehte hain 8 bje ke baad milega humare workers sh rhea really ?what the hell is this. Restaurant services hat a den i chaiye agar itni. Plus staff bhi rude the bahut. Har 15 min me light chili jaa rhi thy auro generator on krone me 2-3 min lga rhe. Plus door ka lock bhi khrb tha. Itne gande rooms, zero service. Pathetic experience in this hotel.

Location-wise the hotel is ok, as it is not very far from haldwani rail-station. However, the non-ac rooms should be avoided during summers, irrespective of the general notion that haldwani, being close to nainital is cool throughout. The fans were not functioning properly. The staffs were well-mannered, and the room price is reasonable.

Room was small in size as it was called premium room. Fooding was limited in options and quantity as well. Major issue i found was related to billing. I booked it for 2 days through mmt. But hotel provided me the gst invoice for one day only. I raised the complaint about the same but no resolution is provided yet.

The owner is a nice and kind person. And the best part is that jaiguru hotel is hardly 10 minutes from haldwani bus station. With bikanerwala restuarant just on the opposite side of the road. And few minutea from the main market if one wishes to enjoy the evening. Overall a good place to stay. The room is cosy and comfortable. With clean bathroom.
