This Ryokan was perfectly situated: very near the station but not too close. What I loved about this Ryokan was that it was a modern, chic version of an old Japanese Ryokan. My room was light, fresh and spacious. The Ryokan was new, 2 years old, so it had the mod cons whilst being very aware of being eco friendly. As to be expected in Japan it was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly attentive. Although not fluent in English, they made every attempt to communicate through Google translate etc. I felt very welcomed here. I highly recommend this Ryokan and would definitely return.

Business hotel chain along line 19 in Tegano, Nakatsugawa City Parking, Wifi and breakfast are free, I booked via agoda this time, but 6510 yen is a convincing price. Breakfast has a lot of items, but the open 6 From half hour to 30 minutes was quite crowded, and it was a procession of more than 10 people at the entrance, and after 7 o'clock, there was a margin. The public bath is small compared to the hot spring inn, but it was early this time, so I was able to take nonbilly fatigue because it was alone. The room is small, but it is average as a business hotel of this scale, it was good to see WOWOW.
It looks like a privately run hotel that was originally a public lodging facility. Therefore, for an inn in the countryside, it is spacious with a large public space. The interior is a little tired, but it's clean and I think it's a reasonable line considering the price. There are various types of rooms such as Japanese-style rooms, twins, singles (doubles), and glamping. [Rooms] The rooms are basically facing the river, but there are some rooms without a view where the river cannot be seen due to the roof. Even though it's called a river, it's just a normal river, and the mountains that can be seen over there are also normal mountains, so I don't think it's worth worrying too much about the view. Specifically, it is best to call the hotel to confirm. Please tell the front desk sincerely. I was traveling alone, so it was a single room on the 4th floor, but it was close to the elevator and had a view. [Bath] The single room had a unit bath, but I used the hot spring bath exclusively. I was very satisfied with the large dressing room, the open-air bath, and the quality of the hot springs. Guests can also use the adjacent day-trip hot spring facility, so I wonder if everyone will go there, and the hotel's public bath was always reserved for me alone (I stayed for 4 nights...). [Breakfast] I was worried about corona, so I used a plan that offers room service of Japanese bento. It was 6500 yen for one night with breakfast, so it was a little shabby Japanese bento for the price, but it was enough for me with a small meal. If you don't really care about corona measures, I think you should choose breakfast at a regular restaurant. [Access] There is a free shuttle bus from JR Nakatsugawa Station. If you combine it with a local bus (the bus stop is a 5-minute walk from the hotel), you will have no trouble sightseeing in the surrounding area even if you are traveling on foot. Magome-juku is a 7-minute bus ride.
Excellent, clean and modern hotel, with simple and understated Japanese aesthetic and upscale design with many warm woods, in an interesting and very quiet older section of Nakatsugawa near the train station. Stayed here two nights. We went in our friend's car and there is parking provided nearby. Perfect base for your Nakasendo Trail/Old Post Towns. After we checked-in, we drove over to the nearby castle ruins for a quick hike and views. Professional and friendly staff, but as some English was limited when we were there, it is best to have your language app as a helpful tool. They need more information available in English print, especially since tourism is back and Japan is on the to-go, must-see list of many travelers. My bed was very comfortable and the private bathroom was perfect, with a wonderful shower that was great to use after a long day of hiking. A friend of mine used the Spa/Public Bath and loved it. There are good hotel free toiletries including great lotions, etc in the lobby area complimentary. They change the towels each day if you put yours in the bag provided at the door. For our day trip to Magome/Tsumago, we took our car to Magome and then hiked from Magome to Tsumago roundtrip and had a wonderful time! It was a pleasure to come back to a clean and simple yet modern hotel. While it is close to some restaurants, everything books quicker on the weekend due to the fact that many chefs only want to have enough food and not waste food, so suggest calling ahead to reserve. The hotel staff will give you suggestions and hopefully the restaurants will be available. If you have wheels you can drive out further from this section of town to the large supermarket or other restaurants. And if you are in Magome or Tsumago there are plenty of food choices for lunch and snacks. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and with good choices! Delicious! Of note, the Japanese tradition of shoes removal begins soon after you enter the hotel. Lockers for shoes are provided in lobby. They provide ”socks” (in the room, as I recall in your amenity bag, and there might have been ”slippers” ) but the beautiful wood floors in the public areas downstairs sometimes can be slippery. (This hotel needs additional photos for its TripAdvisor page. These current TripAdvisor photos do not present enough of the hotel, so google the hotel online for more photos. I currently see three photos.) Maybe just a few things to iron out over time as it is a newer hotel. They are trying and doing a good job and are very gracious and hospitable. We were even able to bring in our food we picked up for dinner and eat in the dining area on a night we were not able to get a restaurant. Excellent value for the money.

Right next to Nakatsugawa Station. A 5-story business hotel located diagonally to the left of the station rotary. I decided to make a reservation out of curiosity because there were many negative reviews posted on TA and a certain accommodation reservation site. The room I was assigned was on the 3rd floor. Although the building is old, the cloth on the walls and ceilings of the guest rooms has been replaced, and although there are stains and cigarette burns on the carpet, it is well kept. The bed has a fluffy bed pad (futon?) on top of the mattress. The air conditioner is Daikin (made in 2013). The TV is a 19-inch (made in 2011) of unknown manufacturer. No automatic wake-up call, no WiFi. The bathtub was small, and there was only one high hook for the shower head. No washlet in the toilet. There were signs that some of the electrical outlets were blocked, and only one with two outlets was found alive. There are three-pronged taps stuck in both mouths, three of which are used for TVs, etc. In other words, there are three spaces available, but since they are located at the foot of the bed, it is very difficult to use them. Single night stay on Saturday is 5,000 yen. There are various problems, so I can't say it's a reasonable accommodation, but it wasn't a bad inn with lots of low reviews.

东东京浪人The Nakayama Ancient Road is one of the five major transportation routes pioneered in the Edo era. It connects the Nihonbashi in Edo (now Tokyo) and the three streets in Kyoto. This ancient road is also called "Nakayama Road", "Nakayama Road", "Kyamachi Street", "Kyamachi Road". The length of 507.7 km, spans Tokyo Metropolitan, Saitama Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture, Jixian Prefecture, Shiga Prefecture and Kyoto Prefecture. There are 67 lodging stations in the middle (Chinese name is Sapporo Station). Among them, Nara Isu, Wives Nang Su, Ma Nang Su, Wake Isu, and Kusatsu Su are the most popular stations. I went to Nara Isu a few years ago, and this time I came to Malongsu to play. Although the sky is not beautiful and it rains, it does not affect the interest of tourism. Walking on the ancient streets feels like returning to a distant ancient city. Six photos are provided for friends to refer to.
Tsukechi Gorge
星星野弥生A pair of Japanese friends I met here for camping activities. It is very meaningful. I recommend everyone to try it. The environment is very good.
Nakatsugawa City Nakasendo Highway Historical Museum
丹丹三丿Zhongshan Road is one of the routes from Tokyo to Kyoto in the Edo era, with 17 stations on the way. Now look at the road, full of history. Some preserved cultural relics and restored sites are not difficult to find the students of the artists of the Japanese writer more than a century ago.
Ena Kyo Observation Deck
PPrincessttHuina Gorge was almost nobody when we came. There are some similarities to the scenery along the Tiger Leaping Gorge in our country. It is best to stand at the observation deck to see the view. The old uncle of the grocery store opposite is a disaster relief hero
Izumofukutoku Shrine
星星野弥生From the station down for a stroll, about 15 minutes is this Yuyunford Shrine, the shrine in the mountains, OK.
Magome Waki-Honjin Museum
星星野弥生It can be said that this library is a place of Malongsu attractions. In fact, there are not many things inside. It feels normal. If you don't go in, you can't go in.
Eishoji Temple
星星野弥生Japanese friends drove from Aichi Prefecture to the Malongsu in Jixian County. Passing by here, it is a temple in the deep mountains, but because there are many people who come to Malongsu, there are many people here.
