Difficult to rate this hotel since there were both good and bad things. I give it a three considering that it is a very cheap hotel. A more expensive hotel would only get a 2 considering the disadvantages. We were probably the wrong customer group for this hotel. I guess this place is aimed at university guests and not a family of tourists. My family (me, my wife and our 9 year old daughter) had booked a room with an extra bed for a week. We chose this hotel because it was very close to my wife's relatives. In hindsight we should probably gone for a better hotel that was a bit further away. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and the hotel interior design was very cozy. There was no elevator, but the staff helped us carry our very heavy luggage to our room. The room itself was very nice and smelled of roses. However, there were insects in the room. I found some kind of bugs/beetles at several occasions and there were plenty of ants (especially in the bathroom). Getting rid of these should be a priority for the hotel and would raise the rating to a four. The extra bed proved to be useless. Our daughter tried it and complained that it hurt her back so I checked and saw that there was a beam that hit her back. We tried to make a bed on the floor but the mattress was too thin so we ended up sleeping all three in the same bed. The room was also lacking in hangers and hooks. It was difficult to dry towels or swimming suits (there is no pool but we were away elsewhere to bath). This would be an easy fix for the hotel. I would also recommend the hotel to add water boilers to the rooms. That would raise the standard. The hotel does not serve any breakfast which we knew so no surprise there, but they did serve coffee and there is a space in the lobby where guests are allowed to eat their own food. That was great for us, it was very easy to buy food either from a 7-11 or a small market that is located on the right on the main street directly outside. Pros: - Very friendly staff - Good cleaning - Cozy - Close to the university - Alley, i.e. not so noisy Cons: - Insects in the rooms - Extra bed not usable - No elevator - No water boiler - Too few hangers and hooks Tips: - The university has a pool that can be used for small fee. There is also a gym and running track. The entire campus is a nice place to walk and there are good cafes. - There is a market (and 7-11) very close to the hotel where you can buy breakfast, use the lobby as a dining room
