R Photo Hotel

An acceptable place to stay for a few nights. Location is a few kilometers outside of the city center/walking street area. The sister hotel, R2, is located right behind so you have that option as well. There's generous parking and hotel grounds are maintained and tidy. Check-in is a bit stiff, receptionists doing the bare minimum and hardly saying anything. The room was perfectly fine with good cleanliness and comfy bed, everything is still in quite nice condition. However, walls are paper thin so can't say the room felt private as the soundproofing was so poor you could hear people cough in the adjacent room and lean against the headboard of their bed which was against the wall—just to give you an idea. Also found that the bathroom had a strange odor, perhaps coming from the pipes. The hotel has a coffee shop, Japanese restaurant, and a rooftop bar/restaurant; the latter was always empty and staff would be lounging outside, leaning against the railing and eyeing guests from above. Even when we went upstairs, no one said a word or approached to welcome us, so we ended up going someplace else. At the time of our visit, breakfast was closed and had been since the pandemic. Reception isn't available 24h but there's a guard on duty at night, we checked-out at dawn and found the guard sleeping soundly on the sofa in the lobby.

Beautiful swimming pool A lot of people playing in the water, as well as a water park, a little noisy, but I like it very much, good service, book through the website early, inexpensive, suitable for families with children. It is a swimming pool, paying respect to Phra That Phanom, paying respect to Phra Sri Sattanakharat, recommend it, will come back again.

My GF and I arrived late after a 4 hour drive and were looking forward to a relaxing night/morning at this hotel. Upon checking into our room, the fuse went out and after an hour of the hotel maintenance unsuccessfully trying to fix it, we were transferred from our ocean view top floor suite, to a second floor room with two single beds and no view. My GF and I were pretty disappointed with the new room, not to mention there was a loud party going on in the restaurant area, which was just one floor down. We called the front desk to ask for a refund, but were told that we would have to take up the matter with Agoda. Being that it was already late, we decided to try to make the best of it; however, I at least expected the hotel to offer a refund for the price difference of an ocean view suite to a smaller room with two beds (and no view), but the hotel said they would just call us back (of course they still haven't a day later). I'm not faulting the hotel staff, but there is definitely a lack of common sense and expected courtesy by the hotel management/ownership. Yea, the views are nice, but the hotel is actually a bit run down, and what got me is that you even have to pay to rent bikes and use their gym. The cost is small, but it's the principal...these types of amenities are always complimentary at any respectable hotel.

The price is good here for what you get. The hotel is a bit out of town. It divides into two sections. Your experience will be either hit or miss depend on which part and which room you get. Ask for a quiet room further from the road. The main building has large room. The other building has compact room which fits my taste. Good to see plants around the buildings. Everything works well, including the wifi. Great staff. The breakfast is extra charge. What I don't like is if you are traveling solo, they have you pay for two anyway. It is standard breakfast. There's a cafe at the front that has great coffee actually.

We sleeped there 3 nights either on January 28 and 29, 2020 booked with Agoda and on January 30, this evening paid directly at the receipt at 500 baht because there were no more available coins on Agoda that returned even better to us The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was included and served from 7h to 10h. We had eggs with sweet coffee on the will, all served in a pleasant atmosphere with good California style music. The restaurant is a welcome and you can stay there. The hotel seems quite new. It is located on the 212 road, about 4.5 km from the city centre. We walked the distance a few times and rented bikes for yesterday and today. The cost of the bus station here in tuk-tuk is 100 baht. The one to go to the city centre must be similar or a little less. The rooms near the reception are likely to be noisy. It is mentioned that there is bike rental but it is false. We talk about high-speed wifi while it is frustrating, weak and intermittent. I was very happy to talk about it at the reception but nothing moved. Good business except for the wifi in our case. Photos will follow a given moment. We loved our dinner last night in the hotel restaurant. We wrote an advice for the restaurant. We would have given 4 stars if we had a good wifi in the room but we give 3 for this reason. N.B. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. It is a homey accommodation. Easy walk to walking street Near Phraya Srisattanakarat Wherever you go, it is convenient to run Grab. The accommodation has bicycles to borrow, comfortable to use. The owner of the accommodation is a very cute family. Yes, will check in and check out late. Just call to tell The owner understands and cares. Very impressed I have to go again for sure, but try to check the booking date next year in March. It's full here and I'm secretly sorry. But I will try to rebook nearby In case there is an empty room, thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
