It is easy find the place and very clean and quiet. Wifi is good and it is clean

Wood Pecker Nakijin is a lovely place. The hotel rooms was converted from old train compartments which made them so special. It was like staying in a real trailer! Free SPA is provided that adds a plus to it. Moreover, the beach is just behind the hotel, it takes only few minutes to walk there. One thing I believe Wood Pecker Nakijin needs to improve is the water temperature for shower. It was unstable during my whole stay there. P.S. Nakijin Castle Ruins is so close to the hotel, it takes only about 10 minutes for driving and within 30 minutes walking distance from Wood Pecker Nakijin. If you stay in Nakijin Village, make sure you go there, It is worth seeing!

The place is very beautiful and right next to the beach. It has a swimming pool (it was just a bit dirty), a sauna, a small restaurant, and free parking. However, the trailer we stayed in was very old, rusty, and smelled very musty. It was hard to sleep with the smell.

I came here five years ago. This is my second visit and I stayed in car No. 7. The indoor space is quite large, but the sofa is a bit moldy. I really recommend changing it~ It's very close to the Marine Life Museum. It's very convenient to walk down the stairs to the beach. But it happened to rain heavily this time, which is a pity that I can't go for a walk on the beach. Looking forward to next time

First of all, there is too little public transportation in northern Okinawa. If you are not renting a car, it is strongly not recommended to stay here. We were careless and didn't pay attention to the expiry of our international driver's license, so we found out at the last minute that we couldn't rent a car, but the hotel couldn't be changed, so we had to bite the bullet and go. The journey was too hard. It took us three hours to take the bus from Naha Airport to Nakijin. It was impossible to call Uber at the castle ruins. Fortunately, someone helped us call a taxi. Yes, it is basically impossible to call Uber in northern Okinawa. Staying in a campervan was indeed a fun experience and the kids found it very new. The bathing area in the campervan is very narrow, but they have a public bathroom and sauna, which is very good. Unfortunately, it is not open 24 hours a day, so you have to go at the right time. The swimming pool is relatively small and the beach is beautiful but there are no lifeguards, so be careful when entering the water. The breakfast portion was small and not enough, the coffee was terrible. The biggest problem is that there is no dinner in the restaurant. It should be said that for dinner, there is only BBQ, and you must make a reservation in advance, and you have to cook it yourself. Or you can buy something outside and rent their BBQ stove, but when we arrived on the first day , there was absolutely nothing to eat. Since we didn’t have a car, we were quite helpless at that moment. Later, we saw on Google Maps a barbecue restaurant that could be reached in about 10 minutes' walk, so we went there. It was very difficult to find the small restaurant. It felt like it was a hut in the forest, but there were still many customers, so I didn't comment on whether it was delicious or not. , I was very grateful to have something to eat at that moment. However, in the suburbs, there are many stars at night, which is very beautiful. It's not far from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Motobu Genki Village.

Apart from the beautiful scenery, there is nothing else to recommend. The lights outside the camper are broken and the door is broken. We are three adults and three children. We ordered four breakfasts. Please note that it is not a buffet. Their attitude is very bad. They probably don't want us to share breakfast. If you really require each person to order one, please let us know when you check in, don't give us a cold look. This may be the worst hotel service experience I have had in so many vacations in Japan.

There are stairs at the back of the park that can go directly to the beach. Very convenient if you want to play in the sand There are no convenience stores nearby. If you drive, you can go to a nearby supermarket. There is an oven and microwave in the room, but no bottled water is provided. Some rooms have a musty smell

I booked a higher-priced room and said it had been renovated, but the bedroom smelled very musty. I wanted to sleep in bunk beds on the other side, but I was completely shocked when I saw animal feces on the bed! The hot water will disappear after washing, and you may not be able to use it continuously by boiling water. The light and exhaust fan in the toilet can only be turned on at the same time, and the sound is a bit too loud... The tabletop and sofa were peeled off, and my legs were cut on the spots on the tabletop... The last time I checked in, I had a bad experience due to bad weather, but the scenery in the park was very good, so I stayed here again. I didn’t expect the experience to be even worse☹️

It had a very motel feel! Unfortunately, it rained the next morning and I couldn't take too many outdoor photos. I only stayed in the camper to take photos, but the photos were also very beautiful. I hope I can come again next time. It was a very good experience.
