Claire de Lune Moonlight Hotel

The property is in a very busy area. Parking is a problem. But other than that, the accomodation is a steal for the price. The units are clean and well managed. Eleveator access is a bit tricky as you always have to call reception to send the elevator up for you. Breakfast is simple and straightforward with not many options available. But the service is good. Staff is friendly and very accomodating. The location is in the heart of a busy market area so if you like exploring on foot then there is alot to do around. For the price, I would definately recommend the place.

For the two nights I stayed with my family, the staff were very friendly and food was awesome. Although there's no shower gel, shampoo nor lotion, the rooms were very clean and secure 🔐. My family loved the stay. Keep it up!

The night supervisor and Restaurant staff were welcoming and awesome..breakfast was okay, But what's the use of a floor/bath marts if u charged ksh 500... for using it (wetting or spotting) Attached is the mart..

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I was scheduled for a work seminar in Nakuru a few days ago and therefore got into the internet to look for a place to spend. This hotel appears to have very good pictures on their website which are definitely misleading. I called a receptionist “Daniel” who insisted that I had to pay the hotel fees KSh. 2000 upfront to avoid missing a room since they get filled very quickly. Little did I know that I was walking into a trap!!!!!! They even allude to have ample/secure car park but there isn’t none of this kind. If you have to spend here, your car will be parked on the street where it will be exposed to all kinds of risks like theft or being rammed into by other cars. Surprise!!!!!! Surprise!!!!!! When I arrived, I realized that the hotel has stalls/small shops that occupy the bottom 3 floors and there is not enough security if you have to come or leave in the night. By the time I was walking to the reception, my mind was already made up and the next action was to ask for a refund of the money that I had sent through M-pesa. The cold receptionist sadly told me that the hotel policy dictates that I can only be refunded after one month and this will be done by way of a cheque. Really!!!!!! I paid the room fee by Mpesa and after explaining to the hotel that what I got on the internet/Receptionist did not match my expectations they are busy playing delaying tactics maybe with the hope that I will give up. I will use all ways possible to ensure that I get my refund. Plus should it take a month really…… Guys please take care and don’t walk into this trap.
