in simple words if we have to mention it was Great experience , the property, staffs , rooms all were great And We have booked only one night but all should do minimum 2-3 nights stay in that property to get relax One Special thing happened with us , we have forgotten one box , but as soon as they found their team contacted us & return us asap ,

Staffs were really friendly and the service was really nice. Loved the wildlife experience. Nocturnal walk was guided by Ashfaq and Goutham who were really friendly and experienced. Thanks and shout out to Ashfaq again for making our stay really enjoyable and memorable.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with views over the surrounding coffee plantation and forest. Food was plentiful and there was a good choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The staff were very helpful and arranged trips to the surrounding area. The highlight of our stay was Peter, one of the resident naturalists, whose knowledge of, and ability to spot, the wide variety of birds was a delight.

The resort is beautifully situated close to the Nagarahead Nature Reserve. Setting is stunning with coffee bushes, pepper wines, lighted walkways, and welcoming staff. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Food is abundant and delicious. Excursions are organized to the Nature Reserve and we saw wild elephants, two type of deer, wild boar, wild dogs, Indian buffaloes, tiger and many birds.

Excellent nature resort for birding and safari
An active coffee estate doubles up as a well maintained nature resort. Food was excellent, the nature walks were good. The resort organised the safari ride booking in Nagarhole (Nanachi gate).

I had visited the stay on my anniversary and it was totally worth it. The hospitality was exceptional in terms of all the services. I had request for the room decoration and it was very well done by Sumanth and Subhash at my convenient time. Thanks for doing that Sumanth and Subhash. Exceptional activities like Plantation tour by Shreyas , the way he explains about the plants and trees was too good. A true naturalist. Post dinner Nocturnal walk with Gautham and walk before the checkout was so exciting where we saw different spiders , scorpions and learnt about their behaviour. They were so engaging and exciting. Last but not the least the Restaurant manager(forgot his name) was so welcoming and had prepared different foods and also suggested few dishes which was great. Overall it was a great experience and would like to visit again.

The 30 acre property provides the serenest and the most beautiful experience. I visited it as a solo traveller to relax and rejuvenate very recently and it did that beautifully . The rooms and the property are gorgeous . But what sets it apart is the hospitality and knowledge of the staff . The spa team is V caring n offer a really good experience and the restaurant chefs n team are too and the food excellent . The naturalists are exceptional , they really give their heart to the nature walks , Shreyas and Peter I m very thankful to . Gowtham , the naturalist , his hospitality was to be really great ful for . Every moment extremely kind , helpful and knowledgeable .the experience of Nagarahole n the forest made even richer cause of it . A definite go again for me and for any one who wants to soak in nature , learn about the animals , birds & reptiles of Nagarhole at the same time. A big thank you to the Machaan team and yes the tiger sighting , the nature walks with various frogs , reptiles n other nocturnal animals n the birding (more than 30 species I saw ) were the most memorable parts of this get away .

Our family of four had an incredible 3-day getaway at Machaan Wilderness Lodge, Nagarahole. The 5-hour drive from Bangalore was smooth, especially the Bangalore-Mysore stretch, which made the journey pleasant. The resort is a serene sanctuary, offering an escape into nature. We stayed in the luxury tent, which was both quiet and opulent—although a warm-water jacuzzi would have been a welcome addition. The food was delightful, and the standout feature was the staff. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate special requests made our stay extra special. Morning nature walks and nocturnal ones were mesmerizing and a unique way to explore the wilderness. A special thanks to Gowtham, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our family had a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!

The number of birds you can hear by day and night is wonderful, and bird watching is a must when you're there (we missed it unfortunately, but did get to spot some Green Bee-Eaters!). The food is great (we had allergies that they catered to without issues) and the staff are friendly and keen on making sure you get to see everything there is. There's enough activities on the property and loads of space to walk around - i would highly advise the safari at Nagarhole too! We spotted a tiger We had to cut our stay short while we were there unfortunately, but we definitely intend to visit once more!!
