Over 10 years of caravanning and my wife and I have stayed in quite a few Reflections caravan parks during that time, without ever having an issue. BUT then we made the mistake of booking a family birthday holiday for 3 caravans at Reflections - Nambucca Heads. The park itself is pretty ordinary to say the least but one of the sites they gave us was way too narrow to have a caravan with an annex on the side. The site was located in-between a fence and a roadway which carries main traffic through to a number of cabins. When fitted, their annex would have been sitting right on the edge of the gravel roadway, if not protruding out onto the roadway itself. This was a highly unsafe situation and NOT one they were not going to accept. When a request was made to be relocated to another site, the park Manager got involved and claimed that we had upset her internal office girl (without providing any justifiable evidence of that claim) and then pretty much implied “that’s your site, you're not moving to another site so like it or lump it” Based on the dangerous location and the Manager’s belligerent attitude, that family member made the decision to leave Reflections Holiday Park and relocate to the Ingenia White Albatross holiday park. The so called “Park Manager” then had the hide to charge them a cancellation fee. So, we now have a family holiday split over two caravan parks. At this point, she must be quite proud of herself. I then requested a credit be issued for my own site. She blatantly refused and I had to forfeit two prepaid nights so I could also relocate to the Ingenia Park together with the third family caravan. Considering the Reflections Park was very empty at the time, it would only have taken a little bit of common sense and a little bit of flexibility from the Manager, and she could have retained our business. The end result was that our family group booked a combined 16 nights at the Ingenia White Albatross holiday park which is clearly a better-quality park run by staff and management that have a much higher understanding of customer service. So, goodbye Reflections Nambucca Heads. Here’s three caravanning families who will never stay at your park again and for that matter will more than likely end up excluding many of the other Reflections Holiday Parks throughout our future travels. I urge people to read other reviews on Reflections Nambucca Heads because it’s clear we are not the only customers to experience this woman’s rude, arrogant and highly abrasive attitude to customer service. There's unquestionably a valid reason why this park was empty.
