Hotels near Guanghuamen Fort Relic Site, Nanjing

Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful to our needs throughout our stay. They lent us a standing fan (due to our preference for cold at night) and replaced our missing room key without much hassle. Staff were also attentive to serve us hot drinks in the lobby when we were just waiting for a short while. Not just front counter staff, cleaning staff also deserve praise for good service and friendliness. Overall a super pleasant stay, would definitely come back again!

The front desk service was very enthusiastic and thoughtful. The takeaway we ordered was delivered by a robot. The room was not big, but it was clean and exquisite. However, there was no intelligent voice control of lights, curtains, alarm clocks, etc. In Wenzhou, mobile phones can be wirelessly charged, which can be improved. Other things are pretty good, especially the staff are very considerate.

Due to unforeseen circumstances , I ended up staying at The Golden Eagle Summit hotel. Check-in was smooth. The location is perfect! The hotel’s entrance was at the back, while the front part is a mall with lots of shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Also, the metro station is right there which was so convenient! The room decor is a bit old fashioned, but nevertheless very clean. The breakfast buffet was ok, but needs more variety. The service is great! Great place to stay in the downtown area!

Pretty much incredible hotel and service, allowed early check and then upgraded, super quick check in. Room was huge, panoramic views of the city, really nice and clean with great amenities. Decent gym and really cool pool again with a great view. Will stay here again for sure

Great service, really beautiful and in a pretty and convenient location (right next to Nanjing Wall and Laomendong and within walkibg distance of Confucius Temple). The lady at the front desk was wonderful, super friendly and upgraded our room for free when we got there, also helped recommend places to eat in the area. There is also a cat, 10/10. We originally booked the guestbook but were upgraded to the suite. The room was very clean, quiet, and with good amenities. The staff was very helpful with any request we had. The metro station is about 10min walk away, otherwise taxi/didi and bikes are readily available and you’ll get to the city centre (Xinjiekou) quick an easy. Would definitely recommend the place, especially for great price-value. I have previously stayed here already.

This hotel’s location is really good. It is located right next to a major shopping mall with lots of good restaurants and stores. It’s located within walking distance from Xuanwu Gate 玄武门 and Xuanwu Lake 玄武湖. It’s right next to a subway that provides easy access to other parts of Nanjing like the Nanjing Museum 南京博物院 or the Confucian Temple area 夫子庙. The rooms were clean and everything in it felt high quality. The view of Nanjing from my room was beautiful. Although the hotel staff are very friendly, I marked the service and amenities as 4/5 for a few reasons. First, laundry is relatively expensive whereas at Atour 亚朵 it’s free. If i remember correctly, they wanted me to pay 35 or so rmb per article of clothing. Secondly, the hotel allows delivery of takeout but they do not send it to your room like they do at Atour 亚朵. You have to go to the lobby and pick it up yourself. These are the only two things that stop me from giving all 5/5s. Other than that, I loved this hotel especially for its location and comfortable rooms. If you dont care about doing laundry or having takeout ordered directly to your room, then those two criticisms are relatively minor things. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel regardless.

Warm service, good location, quality toiletries and amenities, bright and comfortable room. I would give it a 6 star. Things to highlight: •Dyson hair dryer •Nespresso machine •Soft drinks and biscuits that were replenished everyday • Quality bathrobe, bedroom slippers • bedsheets feels like a 900TC quality • AI butler in the room • Vanity dresser with mirror • Massage shower head with good water pressure • Warm bidet toilet that was much appreciated during our stay in winter • Complimentary fruits, dessert and porridge at the lobby every night • 5 mins walk to Nanjing South Station, both train and metro station are located at the same station. • Lots of food options surround the hotel. I highly recommend UrCove by Hyatt.

Overall, this is the best hotel I've stayed in, which may be a latecomer advantage. The details of the service, the facilities in the room, and the sanitation are all very good. The hotel is not far from Nanjing South Railway Station, about a 15-minute walk. There is a Xiaodu housekeeper in the room, and a wireless charging plate on the bedside table. The shower water is large and the temperature is very stable. There are two nozzles and three modes, which makes it very comfortable to wash. The room service robot is quite interesting. Although I have encountered it in many hotels, this is the first time I have used the service. There are 3 bottles of free drinks in the small refrigerator in the room. This is the second hotel that provides free drinks. In short, it's very good!

Very nice hotel, clean, spacious and functional room, good service, nice staff. 10 minutes by walk from subway station, and 2 stations only from Nanjing south railway station. Restaurants and bars very close. The fitness center is quite nice too Very satisfied.
