The waiters were attentive and enthusiastic, the environment was good, and it was very close to the scenic area. They helped with the luggage and bought things for the elderly. The facilities in the room were also very good. I look forward to staying there again next time!

Facilities: Except for the lack of a small refrigerator, everything else is available. There is no parking lot. Although there is cooperation with other parking lots, the fee is quite high. We had lunch yesterday and went back to the hotel to rest. We had lunch nearby at noon today and drove away. It cost more than 70 yuan. In addition, the parking fee for 3 days and 2 nights was just over 100 yuan, starting from the night before.
Sanitation: Clean and tidy
Environment: It is next to the Confucius Temple. It is still a bit noisy downstairs, but if you choose the inner window (that is, no window), it will not be ventilated.
Service: This is similar to other Atour hotels I stayed in.

We stayed for 3 consecutive nights during the National Day holiday. We arrived late on the first day and were assigned a corner room on the 3rd floor. The bathroom smelled of stinky tofu from downstairs, but it was fine after we applied for a room change the next day. Because the flight was in the evening, we applied for a 2-hour late check-out on the last day. The front desk service attitude was very good, the staff took the initiative to greet us, and the room was clean and tidy.
For tourists, this location is really good, and everything you want to see and eat around can be reached on foot. Drinks and cookies in the mini bar are replenished every day, and fruits are delivered for two days. Due to the large flow of people during the National Day, Pingjiangfu Road implemented traffic control, and cars could not enter the Dam Street intersection. After getting off at the Confucius Temple Archway on Pingjiangfu Road, it took about 600 meters to walk in. This was not mentioned in the booking instructions, maybe it was a temporary control measure! Ctrip did take the initiative to call to inform us, but the information we asked for from the hotel was that it was only 200 meters away after getting off the bus, which was a bit far.

I really like the ladies at the front desk. Their service is really good, enthusiastic and proactive. If it weren't for only 5 stars, it would be a full 10 stars! The service is really super, super, super. I hope the girl will work well and become more and more beautiful! The service attitude is very good. It’s so good that we have to add chicken drumsticks to our ladies!! It’s best if we strongly ask for bonuses, hahahaha! And opposite the hotel is Confucius Temple, the location is great! Anyway, it is highly recommended! I will stay here again next time I come to Nanjing!

The environment is very good, the indoor facilities are clean and complete, and there is a large terrace outside. The weather is cool at night and it is especially suitable to sit on the terrace and enjoy the breeze. The Confucius Temple is downstairs, and it is very convenient to travel.

Facilities: The hair dryer got hot after five minutes, so I didn't dare to use it anymore.
Hygiene: There was a big problem with the faucet that I didn't notice. There was no scale when it was not turned on, but when I turned it on, it was all stuck together, which was disgusting.
Environment: The restaurant was cleaned quite well the day before yesterday, but there was a stool under the duplex staircase that was very dirty and covered with dust. In fact, it's better not to put it there. The location is still quite good.

After the room card is processed for delayed check-out, it cannot be used after the check-out time of 12 o'clock. Two cute robots to delivery goods and inside room got smart AI room service that will have quite fun to talk to. got there laundry room usage for customers with free of charged. only improvement needed is there language beside mandarin and front desk officer be more helpful for foreigner customer.

YYeyouqiThe front desk service was very enthusiastic and thoughtful. The takeaway we ordered was delivered by a robot. The room was not big, but it was clean and exquisite. However, there was no intelligent voice control of lights, curtains, alarm clocks, etc. In Wenzhou, mobile phones can be wirelessly charged, which can be improved. Other things are pretty good, especially the staff are very considerate.

AAnonymous UserThe best hotel I’ve stayed in China so far! Located right beside Nanjing Railway Station and its metro station. Take Exit 11 from Nanjing Railway metro station and the hotel is right in front of it. Check in counter is located on level 2 of the building. The service by the front counter was good too! They served us with drinks while they were checking us in. We were at first given a room on level 2, but when we entered, there was a strong cigarette smell. We immediately informed the front counter, and they immediately changed our room to another room on level 3. They even help to bring our luggage up to the room. Room was big and comfortable for 3 of us. Price of this hotel was decent too. We were amazed by the clean room, and the kids playpen within the room! The playpen would be a plus point for families wtith kids but it was a great photo spot for us! The TV had screenshare functions but I had difficulties connecting my phone to the TV. Wifi connection was stable but as usual we could only use China approved apps through wifi. Opposite the hotel and on the first level of the hotel, there was a stretch of restaurants providing different types of food. There was also 2 mini marts along the stretch of restaurants. Laundry room was on level 3, beside the elevators. 2 washing machine and 2 dryers available, laundry detergent and softners are provided too. Steam iron is available in the laundry room. Laundry service was also provided, you can wash your laundry in the washing machine before heading out in the morning. Take the notepad provided by the side and leave your room number and type of washing service you need. the housekeepers will help to complete the washing and drying if needed. They also helped us to fold the clothes and left them in a laundry bag in the laundry room for us to collect when we go back at night. There was also the delivery robot there to deliver our delivered food. Overall would love return to this hotel again!

The overall stay experience is still very comfortable, simple and clean.
Before check-in, I was fortunate to have the administrative manager Shelia contact in advance to upgrade to an executive room. The experience of the executive floor is still good. There are executive light meals and executive lounges in the evening, which are plus points!
The room is very comfortable, the bed is just the right hardness, the room space is still relatively large (forgot to take a photo), and the breakfast service is also good.

MMs HotelierBath tub was awesome and bedding was super comfy. Also, hotel staff went another mile in preparing cake, fruits, chocolate and a little gift as it was my birthday. Breakfast was comprehensive and the scrambled eggs were exceptionally good. Waking distance to a new high end mall that opened only a few days ago and super close to the metro line 2 and 10.

The hotel has a perfect location, being only 5min from the olympic stadium area and the Nanjing eye scenic area. The hotel staff are polite, friendly, and speak perfect english. The hotel rooms, whether city view or river view, are all sublime. Spacious room with spacious bathroom and complimentary drinks in the mini-fridge, the holiday feeling when you enter the room is immediate. The hotel has is home to a number of restaurants that offer a range of meals. Additionally, the hotel buffet is great (cost approx 350CNY) and includes a variety of meal options from seafood to steak to vegetarian options. I stay at this hotel once or twice per year and i thoroughly enjoy the stay each time.

Because it is inconvenient to go up and down the stairs with children, I upgraded to a suite, which is super spacious, and there is a bathtub for the baby to swim. The room facilities are complete. The buffet dinner is relatively average, the variety of dishes is not rich enough, the hairy crabs per person are of poor quality, and there are too many people during the breakfast during the National Day holiday, like a big canteen. The location is very close to the outlet and can be reached on foot. If I come to Pukou again, I will experience this hotel again!

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors.
However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it.
Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet.
This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining.
I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.
