The hotel is great for the price. Good location across from a park with a lake. Beds were comfortable, and clean. The room was cleaned daily. Bottled water provided. The towels were soft and absorbent. The buffet breakfast, at 30 RMB was good. Coffee! A good selection of choices. You can fry your own eggs. Steamed buns and fried noodles. A good choice. Friendly staff. A convenience store right off the lobby. One peculiarity: The toilet was immediately behind the door, which always hit it when entering. The shower is small, and the water escapes to soak the bathroom floor... But towels provided. Toiletries provided are good.

The soundproofing is very poor. All the water from the shower next door flows down from the basin pipe in my room. The sound is very loud. There is a small gap in the bathroom window that is connected to the next room because the person living next door was very loud that day. Smoking, I guess everyone who lives in several rooms knows each other, but it is very noisy outside, it feels like there is no one around, and the smell of smoke can come into the room, which I can't forgive. Very late at night, after 22 o'clock, the neighbor finally finished taking a shower, watched TV for a while and went to sleep. It didn't matter that the room I stayed in didn't have a TV. After all, the price was there, and there was no exclusive wireless network room number. Fortunately, I could share the password. I used the wireless networks in several nearby rooms. Some of them could be connected and some couldn't be used. net. There is also the restaurant's 58 yuan lunch set, which is much worse than the meat dish I ordered last time. Because I am sick, please give me less oil, less salt, and less spicy. The hotel is strategically located next to Hohai University and opposite Gate 6 of Nanjing Normal University. It is very convenient to stay here when visiting the children in military training at the Normal University. The hotel is not rated with stars, but the environment and service are comparable to four-star or old five-star hotels. The buffet dinner is especially worth mentioning, which is 108 yuan per person. There are many dishes, delicious desserts, and a very high cost performance. The Huaiyang cuisine for lunch was also very delicious. Knowing that it was the child’s birthday, a poached egg was specially added to the Yangchun noodles. Touched~

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was very good, it was easy to walk to many restaurants, attractions and it was near a well connected metro station (XINJIEKOU). The staff were very friendly and helpful and even upgraded me to a larger room for free when I arrived.

I loved my stay at this hostel🙌🏾 First time to stay in a hostel and was pretty anxious about it all. But when I got there, all of it went away. The staff helped me carry my luggage, they were are friendly, no check-in trouble just perfect. The place is so tidy and clean hence well managed. Cleaning staff is always active. The hostels are very clean too and comfortable, you will sleep well there. The environment is so vibrant and very good for being socializing others. The big thing I loved about here is the friendliness of everyone there, you socialize with new people everyday, play games like pingpong, billiards, card games and more. There are music instruments like a grand piano, guitar, small African drum and mics too to showcase your talents at the Karaoke Stage. There are cozy areas where you can chill too if you want some privacy. A bar is also located inside as well. Honestly I didn’t want to leave, I kept on extending my days there🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂 Just 2 downsides, it’s just a little difficult to locate since you expect to see Douyuan Youth Hostel but it’s themed Moreland Youth Hostel. Then it’s on the 3rd floor but the elevator doesn’t work. Hope these get fixed soon…

The hotel is close to Xuanwu Lake, and the MRT is close by. But other than that, the surrounding area seems rather quiet in terms of shopping and eateries. The hotel does have a well known chinese restaurant on the ground floor and you won't be disappointed with the fine offering there. Although the hotel is rather dated, it is well maintained and everything works well. Cleanliness was good and the staff were helpful. Buffet breakfast spread was good, although certain food sections could be improved - like better fried eggs ( I have seen better fried eggs at other hotel buffets) and offering cook on demand omelette. I would stay here again as I believe it is good value for money
