Very disappointed with our stay here. Looked forward to staying in the main hotel as we had done previously but instead this was closed with hotel functioning from other smaller buildings. Not clear on website or marketing information. Limited breakfast. No evening restaurant. However, staff very helpful with an enquiry we had and hotel in a good location for People’s Park, central train station and city centre shopping.

The room is large and neat with complete facilities, but some of the equipment is a bit old, such as the central air conditioner, which is very old and the effect is not ideal. The hotel is in a good location, the surrounding environment is also very good, and it is convenient for travel.

Every time I go to Nanning, I stay at Mingyuan Hotel. It has convenient transportation and is quiet in a busy city. Behind the hotel is Nanning People's Park, which is very relaxing to walk in the morning and evening. It is close to Chaoyang Square subway station, Sanjieliangxiang, and Yongjiang Bridge.

The room facilities are average and a bit old. The parking lot is quite large and you can park anywhere. But the hygiene is really poor. The bed sheets are all dirty. It feels really disgusting🤢 It's really unappetizing.

The hotel is indeed old, but the bedding is clean. For more than 100 yuan a night, why would you want a bicycle? The hotel is in a good location, next to People's Park and Guantang Market. There is a noodle shop outside the door that is not bad, which is enough!

After checking in, I found that I was really worried: the hotel is very large, with several guest rooms, a fitness center, a swimming pool, the old site of the Nanning Conference, and even two staff dormitory buildings. Although the wallpaper in the corridor does look a bit old, the desks, bedside tables, and walls in the room are all made of stone. The longer they are, the smoother they look. The corridors and rooms are hung with ethnic embroidery works, which are very ethnic. The hygiene is very good, the service is also very good, and the room is spacious! Although the decoration style seems outdated, it is enough to show how luxurious and upscale the decoration was back then! There are many delicious foods on the right hand side of the hotel. From the staff dormitory area, you can go to the People's Park. It is very pleasant to get up early and run every morning! The People's Park is very large, with a fort, a natural museum, the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao Meeting with Representatives of Minority Nationalities in Guangxi, and the Martyrs' Monument. It is also very convenient to go to various scenic spots, suitable for self-driving, and parking is very convenient. You can park in the large hotel area.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. There happened to be a group staying for the 2 nights we stayed, so we were upgraded to a suite in Building 2. It had a bed of 2 meters, 2 bathrooms, and a long balcony with a curve. There was a clothes drying rack on the balcony, and the outdoor scenery was great. What a surprise. The shower was big and strong, and comfortable. This hotel is an old hotel, but it does not affect its quality at all, and everything in the house is very new. The only complaint is that the breakfast is a bit sloppy.

The hotel is very close to Shuangmajing Vegetable Market, and next door is People's Park~ Shuangmajing's prices are very cost-effective, even cheaper than the night market~ Facilities: Although it is an old hotel, it is well maintained~ The facilities in the room are great~ The corridor may have a little smell, but it doesn't affect~

Don't come here if you don't want to get scammed! Although the staff is nice, the room is old and falling apart. The pool, gym and tennis courts are closed and abandoned. Nothing in the ad warns of the state of the hotel and no compensation was offered to us. This is clearly a scam! This hotel no longer deserves to be on Trip if the ad is not updated!😡

Very satisfied! As an old Nanning resident, Mingyuan Hotel is indeed a well-known four-star hotel since childhood. It is quiet in the bustling city center. The style of the hotel is somewhat retro. I highly recommend staying in a suite, which is nearly 70 square meters and has a large living room, which is very comfortable.
