Comfortable and very well located. Friendly staff. Perfect for its category.
The small boutique hotel is in a good location for many restaurants and activities. Rooms are very small with hardly enough space for 2 suitcases. Very few amenities. Bathroom tiny. Would be 2 or 3 star in most places. Staff was friendly and helpful. During our stay, there is construction ongoing next door and VERY noisy during the day. Check before you make plans that work is over!!
Response from Property: Dear Guest, we appreciate you taking the time to write a comment about your stay, we are so glad you enjoyed our special location and we’re happy to hear you loved our staff as well. We’re sorry for the construction taking place next door, as you can probably understand it's something that doesn't depend on us. Regards.

A great place to stay in Naples. The location is convenient and easily walkable to the historic old city, the vibrant Spanish Quarter, and the picturesque harbor. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is a very nice buffet. They also have the softest and absorbent towels I ever had in a hotel.
Response from Property: Dear Jody, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating! Hearing about how much our guests love Palazzo Turchini and the great service they’ve received from our staff always makes our day. We have passed on your review to our team and look forward to seeing you again here in Naples. Best regards.

Stayed one night stopping off from Ischia before our flight home. Great little hotel close to the port and within walking distance to all the sights. Great room, fab staff and the breakfast was awesome. Will definitely stay again when in Naples.

This is a beautiful and charming hotel smack in the middle of town. Location wise it is perfect for touring. it is clean and friendly. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast fantastic. Evening meals are wonderfully prepared at a restaurant three doors away. The room was comfortable and amazingly quiet given the location. I would recommend this as a great sot to explore the city from.

I recently stayed 5 nights here and my experience didn't match that of the other reviews who have recently written in English. I noticed the reviews in Italian tended to be more critical. Here are my pros and cons on the property: Pros: -- The location is convenient. It's just off the Piazza Municipio and only a half block from the Municipio metro station. It's within easy walking distance of the harbor, the Maschio Angioino, the Teatro San Carlo, and the Pallazo Reale. It's a longer, but still pleasant, walk to the sights along Spaccanopoli. I'd recommend riding the Metro to the short distance to the Archeological Museum. Note that the hotel is on the via Medina which is a very busy street. My room was at the back of the building so it was very quiet. The rooms at the front might get the street noise. -- The staff are welcoming. Everyone to whom I spoke was friendly and helpful, especially the nice lady in the breakfast room who made sure I was well supplied with cappuccino. -- Breakfast, on the whole, was quite good. There were cereals, breads, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, as well as freshly prepared fruit salad. The spread was adequate, if not elaborate. The coffee was excellent. Cons: -- I had a junior suite that was rather tired. There were scuffs on the walls and some mold in the shower. I pulled out one of the nightstands to use the plug behind it and found a layer of dust that looked like it hadn't been disturbed in several years. The room looked superficially clean, but overall the housekeeping left something to be desired. -- There was an odd musty smell coming from the air conditioning vent. I noticed the smell went away if I turned off the air con. However, I frequently needed to run it to counter the heat and humidity of the climate in Naples. I've been a frequent visitor to Naples in the past. I planned this visit at relatively short notice for high season, so the hotels where I have stayed in the past were booked full. This was my first visit to this hotel. It will probably be my only stay here.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. We do appreciate your positive feedback about the location and our staff. We are sorry that some aspects of your experience here at Palazzo Turchini did not meet your expectations, but we would love to have another opportunity to host you again. Regards.

Check-in is smooth and professional. Desk clerk very helpful with directions and advice for the Napoli experience. Rome raves about Pizza Napoli - we were directed to the genuine source, Sorbillo at Via Dei Tribunali 32 not the busy place with the blue sorbillo flags) walk a little further to the smaller place with Sorbillo etched in the glass over the door. viola!.. Pizza Napoli. This walk from Palazzo Turchini takes you through Centro Antico. There is also a beautiful Church right next door to Palazzo Turchini and hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to historic central attractions, food and transportation; including the Port of Naples for next steps travel to ports beyond. Room is clean and Comfortable.

This hotel was good for a quick stay in Naples. It is really conveniently located close to a metro stop. The room was a little cramped and the air conditioning didn't work great. The breakfast was amazing, though, and the breakfast staff was incredibly kind.

Efficient, well located, well priced, and charming, this little hotel in the center of everything, and near the waterfront promenade, is a solid value. The rooms are clean, neat, modern. Staff is charming. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with terrace overlooking Medina Street. I loved this unpretentious hotel which is housed in a 16th century building and was the former dormitory for the castrati boys who sang in the church adjacent. This surprising history certainly adds interest to one’s stay here.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was within walking distance to all we wanted to see in the short time we were there (Spanish Quarter, Old Town) and is within walking distance to the train (for Pompeii) and the port (for any ferry travel). The breakfast on the rooftop was lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I did request a quiet room but we were given one right on the main road which is the only reason I haven't given them 5 stars. Nevertheless, highly recommended.
