Great location to reach every part of Naples either by foot or by metro

I don't have enough words to describe my huge disappointment with this hotel in every way. All wrong. ALL. We arrived at the hotel and nobody opened it for us. The reception closed. The building closed. Half an hour waiting in a street full of people and not very famous for its security, with all the suitcases and calling a number that does not answer. When we finally manage to contact them, a lady takes us to another B&B with the same owner according to her. She takes us to a room with a double bed when we had requested single beds, and obviously much smaller and more shabby than the one in the photos. After a lot of fighting, she takes us to one with bunk beds, full of humidity, even getting to wet the wall where there is a dryer connected and wetting the toilet, with noises all night that makes it impossible to sleep and some rude workers. The hotel only telling lies, they only spoke Italian, which made everything even more difficult, telling only lies when we heard more couples that the same thing happened to them. A disaster in every way.

Only the lady at the reception deserves three stars, who provided us with a more spacious room than we booked. For breakfast, the room is small, food is not replenished on time (for example, if you run out of juice, then drink water or something else, no one will bring the same). Problems with the elevator. And the constant running from one wing to another, with the elevator not working, is not ok when you are with a child, and you still have to pay 10 cents for it at a time. On the last day, they snorted at the child because she trampled in the room, although she got into a puddle because the elevator was not working. We won't be returning here.

Мы бронировали апартаменты с 3 спальнями. Нас заселили в двухэтажный апартамент с одним кондиционером - это было ужасно, жарко и тесно. Сумму оплатили как за три спальни😡

Este hotel (B&B CHEZ MOI, na - P.za Giuseppe Garibaldi, 39, Napoli) é de pilantras, marginais, estelionatários. Paguei uma noite neste B&B muito antes da data que estaria lá. Ao fazer o check-in me enviaram a um local em outro endereço, muito inferior, tanto pela localização quanto pela estrutura. O telefone que conta na placa com o nome deles na entrada do prédio é de outro local, o que indica que é tudo planejado. This hotel (B&B CHEZ MOI, at P.za Giuseppe Garibaldi, 39, Naples) is run by crooks, criminals and fraudsters. I paid for a night at this B&B well before I was supposed to be there. When I checked in, they sent me to a place at another address, which was much inferior, both in terms of location and facilities. The phone number on the sign with their name at the entrance to the building is for another place, which indicates that everything is planned.

The good: Great location, right next to Garibaldi train station. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The lift is great. It does have a slot to put 10 cents in, but if you don't have a ten cent coin, the lift still works. The bad: We had booked and paid for 14 nights to stay at Chez Moi. We arrived on the first day at 6:00 p.m. We phoned the owner, and he sent a woman around. We followed her into the reception area. She then told us we couldn't stay there. After having read other reviews, I thought "OK we're going to be sent around the corner to the Hotel Poker", which is what Chez Moi does sometimes. But no, we weren't that fortunate. She repeated that we couldn't stay there. I showed her the proof that we had booked and paid (using both my phone and paper printouts) but she said we couldn't stay. She then escorted us out of the premises and locked the door. I understand that mix-ups happen sometimes, but there's no need to humiliate your guests like that. I phoned our travel company (who had made the booking) and they said they would contact the owner of Chez Moi to sort it out. After a couple of hours, I rang them again, and then a few more times. A couple of times, someone from Chez Moi would turn up and tell us we couldn't stay. I said "Can you at least give me my money back so we can find somewhere else?" But they would just walk away. We spent most of the night sitting on the steps outside of the B&B with our suitcases. We made the other guests who walked past us feel very uncomfortable. I think they thought we were beggars, and seeing us made them feel anxious. But we were paying guests just like them. Finally at 3:30 a.m., 9½ hours after arriving, I received an email (thankfully I still had a few percent of battery left on my phone) from my travel company saying Chez Moi had overbooked and had no rooms left, and we should find somewhere else to stay. It was too late to find anywhere at that time, but I'm happy to say we did get somewhere else for the other 13 nights. We know the treatment we received at Chez Moi does not represent the rest of the Neapolitan people. We would go back to Naples. But we don't want to go to a B&B that treats its paying guests with contempt. Note to Chez Moi: It seems like you have a nice place, and it's in a great location, but please learn from this experience, and start treating your guests as humans – thank you.

DO NOT BOOK THIS B&B!!! The worst experience I have ever had. Our flight from Edinburgh was delayed by 3 hours meaning we would miss our check in time. I e contacted our booking agency to let them know the situation and they assured that they spoke to the B&b and late check in wouldn’t be a problem. Later having arrived at what ‘appeared’ to be where the B&b should have been, there was nothing to be seen, no reception, no way to access the gate (it seemed like a bunch of flats) I personally phoned the number given on the booking, got told check in was ‘not possible’ over and over again. We had to find a different place for us to stay that night. The next day we attempted to check in again, again, no one to be seen, nothing seemed right at this point. The cleaner then phoned someone and a man that came off from the street 20 minutes later told us that because we didn’t make check in the night before - that our stay for the next 6 nights was ‘not possible’ and that it was ‘not his problem’ he then waited for us to leave before leaving the area what seemed like flats/ or god knows what. All very dodgy, nothing made sense. I’m 99% sure this place doesn’t exist. We had to make arrangements for different hotels throughout our stay in Naples. A horrible and stressful situation. Do not book there.

In my experience they are just SCAMMERS. I had a confirmed and already paid booking. When I arrived there, they denied they had received it and told me they were full for those dates, so I had to go somewhere else. A few days later, when I was dealing with the refund from the booking site I had used to reserve my accomodation, I was informed that B&B CHEZ MOI had told them that I had checked succesfully on my intended date. I could show proof of my stay in another hotel and now things are being sorted. But beware with this place.

We stayed at Chez Moi for 4 nights. The hotel is located very near the Napoli Centrale station and thus, it is very easy to take the train to various other cities. Also the harbour (the ferries to Amalfi, Capri etc) is within walking distance. Even though they say that Napoli is unsafe and full of thieves, we did not experience the area where the hotel is located as such. Our room window was to the courtyard so we did not hear anything from the street. Our room had been changed without telling us in advance to another, smaller room but we received compensation so we were okay with that. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfy but a minus goes to the bathroom. It was in a serious need of updating and the shower did not work very well. At some point during our stay, the toilet chair started leaking water but the staff fixed it quickly. The balconies are not real balconies but so called French balconies where you cannot sit. The air conditioner worked well. Our room was located next to the reception and our door did not block any noice so starting at 7 am we started hearing the door bell and the phone ringing etc. The cleaning of the room worked as excepted. Not sure if the bed sheets were changed every day but the towels were. The breakfast was OK, really nothing to highlight but it worked. The staff was friendly but sometimes we could hear them to our room arguing loudly with other guests. If you are looking for a budget hotel with a great location, we would recommend this hotel. If you are looking for a perfect experience, please skip.

We had a very good stay in Naples, and are very satisfied with the BnB Chez moi. The welcome upon our arrival, the decoration of the room, spacious, the bedding, the view of Place Garibaldi and Vesuvius (room 502). The rental is ideally located, right next to the train station to reach the airport, or take the train to Pompeii. Or the metro to reach the city center. There's a McDonald's at the bottom of the building, which helps out a lot. The only downside is waking up with a bang in the morning. The two people serving breakfast talk very, very loudly to each other, continuously, which systematically woke us up. Of course it was almost eight o'clock, but on vacation, it's not unusual to want to sleep a little more.

Avoid this place! I go to Naples often and have never had such a bad experience! When I arrived in front of the B&B, no one answered the intercom, I called the reference number that I found on my reservation and they told me that a person would come to open the door for me. The lady who arrives tells me that she learned from the owner that my reservation doesn't exist and invites me to follow her to a hotel around the corner to find a solution. The owner changes his story on the phone and says he has the reservation but has not received the payment and asks me to pay €90, I had already paid around €30 for the room but according to him it is impossible that I paid so little. I ask him to contact the site on which I booked but he refuses, saying that no one answers on Saturdays. After calling customer service several times to try to provide him with a new electronic credit card, the owner doesn't even respond to customer service calls, who offers me a refund (not yet arrived) and invites me to find new accommodation . Luckily I found a hostel not far away!

Apartment very close to the central station, as well as the supermarket. The welcome is friendly although not easy to understand because they only speak Italian (thanks Google translate). We had a large apartment with equipped kitchen and utensils as well as a small balcony. Cleanliness is good. The bathroom is good too. Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. is sufficient, we were not informed but you have to go to the 5th floor at reception.
