A day spent in Narberth, in fact a return trip to continue a hunt for some small antique pieces. In need of a stop for lunch we decided to treat ourselves and call in at The Angel Hotel. We had earlier been attracted by the menu displayed outside by the entrance, so we decided to give it a try. A very good choice. A most interesting menu and the staff were happy to vary items such that two starters could be combined to make a main dish. Not the cheapest spot in town, but food, beautifully cooked and presented,, and extremely tasty' We were so replete we couldn't mange a dessert, which is a great shame as they looked amazing, but clearly designed for appetites larger than ours.
