Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn

Didn’t get my room I paid for the night. Had to rebook with another hotel nearby.

The Best Western Plus Sunrise Inn is a practical choice for value-focused travelers in the Nashville area. The hotel's greatest assets are its excellent, complimentary full breakfast and the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who frequently receive high praise. The location is convenient, offering quick access to the airport (BNA) and easy ride-share routes to downtown attractions. However, be aware that cleanliness and room maintenance can be inconsistent. While many guests report comfortable, clean stays, some reviews mention minor issues like wear and tear or occasional musty odors. Overall, it’s a good option if you prioritize great service and breakfast over a guaranteed pristine room condition.

Our room was leaking water from the ceiling in the bathroom, the headboard had a smeared handprint, and the power went out for 1 full day. We got a new room after complaining. The new room had a what looked like a smeared blood stained finger mark on the wall, hair in the shower, food left over in the fridge, and a stained/ripped up pillow case. We complained to the front desk AGAIN and they said they could only do a $30 return! We left and got a new hotel.

This hotel had reasonable rates compared to others in the area. Check in was quick and friendly. The hotel and room were clean and well kept. The AC unit was just right making enough "white noise" to block out any outside noise. The bed was super comfortable and provided a very restful night. Breakfast was typical for a chain hotel and nothing to brag about. The hotel was located in a sort of triangle with I-24, I-40 and right off Rt 41. Rt 41 provided a straight shoot into downtown Nashville and the Music Center parking garage. I-40 was close by and Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord and General Jackson Showboat were only minutes away. If we are ever in Nashville again the Best Western Sunrise will be on the top of our list of places to stay.

MOLD MOLD MOLD! We found about 4sf of black mold behind a picture frame. Pictures attached, but they don’t do it justice. They allowed us to move rooms, but this room honestly smelled more musty than the first. They still made us pay full price that night. I also noticed a man with what I am assuming is a spray bottle for insecticides sneak into a room - take that info as you wish. The overall health of this property is extremely concerning. The price ~$118 a night is NOT WORTH risking your health, especially if you have respiratory issues. Pro: Complimentary breakfast was decent.

Had an excellent experience here! Management was great and super helpful and the complementary breakfast was worth the extra money over other places that are cheaper but dont offer that option. Good location as well with great food options close by, while also being 10 minutes from broadway. Only thing to watch out for is the sensitive fire alarms in the room. I understand its to prevent smoking in the room but a hot shower with the bathroom door cracked open will set it off. (Learned the hard way lol) Great place for the price will definitely be staying here again if im ever back in town!

Everything was great! Room was clean and man at the desk was wonderful. We also love the breakfast buffet in the morning. Those sweet ladies were working very hard to for breakfast and it was fresh and delicious. They have the BEST apple juice ever too!
