Hotels near Freeport Northeast Park, Nassau County

We checked out after one night and cancelled our other reservation with you. We came to town for a wedding and my friends who were getting married clearly didn’t visit your “hotel” before booking a room block with you. Booking the reservation was problematic. You didn’t offer them any sort of discount as an incentive when they booked the room block, which my wife and I found to be discourteous. We didn’t book online since there was no way to activate the room block discount (which as mentioned above, didn’t exist). They gave us two separate reservations, so this prolonged process of confirming two reservations took about 30 minutes, and I already regretted it. Your motel is located next to a TGIFriday’s which was a blessing since we were starving when we got there, but it was really closer to Baldwin rather than RVC and should have been advertised as such. There is no privacy or any sense of security. When we got to the parking lot, we were greeted by many people milling about and talking in the parking lot. Throughout our stay, they were there, and it made us very uncomfortable, sometimes as many as 20 people in a party just hanging out in the lot. Why would you let them do this? Our friend who was also staying with you told us that someone tried to come into her room unannounced, so after that, we decided we couldn’t trust the staff and didn’t want turn down service. The room was okay, not great. The bed mattress felt sunken in and old. The bathroom was disproportionate and missing at least a towel rack. There was a screw in the wall that used to hang something where the mirror now sat. The room was dark and dreary. The clicker was missing a battery cover and didn’t work, so no TV. The WiFi was inconsistent. When my wife said we were leaving and wouldn’t need the second reservation for the two additional nights, the guy at the front desk barely batted an eyelash. He called me two hours later to confirm that I had left. I wouldn’t come back to this motel even if it was free.

I booked the Hampton Inn based on reviews and proximity to UBS Arena. I do not have any negatives regarding this property. The check in was quick. They had freshly baked cookies at the desk, which were fabulous. The room and bathroom were clean and had adequate space. It also had a small refrigerator. The room was on the first floor, but was surprisingly quiet. We did not try the breakfast, but my husband did try the coffee. They also have a variety of drinks and snacks for purchase. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown, which has numerous restaurants, and also a grocery store and pharmacy. We did not feel unsafe during this walk, which was an approximate 5 minute walk. Everyone in the hotel was extremely friendly from the front desk to the maid service. We will frequent this hotel again, if returning to Rockville Centre.

I'm not sure if these reviews that I'm reading, the guests stayed at the same property that I did. My stay was nothing but pure awesomeness.It began with my Administrative Assistant having the anxiety task of booking my room and she knows exactly what I like and how precise I am about where I put my head to rest. I had her change 3 different reservations that were previously booked and I finally decided on the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale.

This was an excellent choice for my friend and me. We had a room with 2 double beds. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom shower was excellent. The hotel was very quiet. Since I have to eat gluten free, there weren't alot of choices for breakfast but the eggs, fruit and oatmeal were good. The staff were all friendly and so helpful. I enjoyed being able to sit in the area near the amazing fish tank and charge my phone while reading or eating. The front desk person who was on duty on Saturday morning, June 10 deserves a special shout out. My friend and I were in a serious car crash when leaving the hotel and the manager couldn't have been more kind and caring. We sat in the hotel lobby for hours collecting ourselves and figuring out transportation. Again, the desk clerk offered us water, asked if we wanted anything to eat, kept an eye on us and made us feel cared for. I am sorry I didn't get his name but he deserves to be recognized for the kindness he showed us.

Hilton garden Inn Melville has an amazing package that every hotel should have for brides to get ready the morning of their wedding! Rosemarie the sales manager provided information in their “Beauty and Bubbles” package that includes champagne, a light breakfast, makeup chairs and mirrors a long table for your makeup and hair stylist and then extra seating to enjoy breakfast- all put together in a clean and modern conference room ! The price for the room and amenities are very fair. Rosemarie answered all of the questions leading up to the day and made herself available the morning of, there was an attendant there if needed and other staff made It known they were available ! There is a bathroom right next door to the room to use to change if needed. Not to mention the hotel is spotless with a beautiful outdoor area with fire pits that we enjoyed the night before during our stay, a bar, snack stand, pool and immaculate guest rooms. Overall 10-10. The hotel was amazing even though it’s a local hotel I’m definitely going back just for an overnight staycation because of the clean and modern amenities. I can't express enough how wonderful the team at Four Points were for us. Nicole (Director of Sales) was our point person for booking rooms for over 30 people and her communication and professionalism made the process seamless. Alexis & Jada at the front desk were also quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had.

The hotel service is warm, our language is not available, but through gestures and other exchanges, the stay is very smooth. The egg roll for breakfast tastes good. The room decoration is simple but very clean.
