Got off to quite a bad start as it was over an hour wait to check in. No air conditioning in the lobby. We arrived after a three hour drive from Manila. They originally wouldn't take a credit card for the room deposit and wanted 20,000 pesos in cash. They apologized and said they didn't have many foreign guests, mostly locals. Which seemed true. Eventually after some contentious discussion, magically they came up with a credit card reader and accepted a card for the room deposit. The rooms (well air conditioned and clean: 3 star level) had no phones and the property is very large so no access to room service or the front desk unless you download the viber app and then you can text the front desk. Pool was very big and nice, no gym. It says Spa, but no spa services were advertised or offered onsite. Outdoor bar was good looking and nice view. No outside alcohol or food was allowed. The town (only 15 minutes away by motorcycle) has domino's pizza that would have delivered but only snacks were allowed from outside. None of this was mentioned on Trip.com. Very impressive view of sunset and beach area was nice but not outstanding. Cool water park kind of playground for kids but didn't see anybody using it. Jet skis and other fun stuff was available for rent. One female bartender at the cabana style bar near the pool was very friendly and made it fun to sit at the bar. She claimed "We have THE best Long Island Iced Tea in the area" was fun and professional and the LIIT was very good. Male bartender was a total stiff. Breakfast was included but not impressive at all. Cool Fire show at 7pm. Family style resort. Room was decent, clean and upon arrival AC was already very good. Nice deck with a very good view but no chairs to sit on. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. After the contentious beginning, things got better but the tone was set. I wish I could report better about this place.
