從2013年起，除去疫情期間，每年必去。過去網上不能訂，現在可訂方便多了。
理由:
1、酒店在山上，安靜，窗外即景。。
2、酒店旁就能看到温泉流出的山體冒着熱氣，真正的温泉。
3、服務一流，有車迎送。
4、住宿附一日早晚兩餐，食材極好。
以下為2023年11月入住時感想:
從溪雲閣下山到鎮上，一條帚川溪，一座紅葉吊橋，看到的五彩斑斕，是早年植樹前就設計後選定樹種的，高低錯落恰到好處。

塩原新湯温泉は、以前泊まった塩原高原ホテル以来、2回目の宿泊でした。 pH2.6のかけ流し酸性湯は最高！ 建物は古いですが、お部屋はリフォームされていて、ピカピカ✨ 食事は朝夕ともに部屋食で、大変落ち着いて頂けました。 フキ、ワラビ、ウドなど、地の山菜に感動！ 食事量は、ちょうどお腹満杯な量で、年齢的に多すぎずで助かりました😅 源泉が近いためか、湯船のお湯の吐出口のORP（酸化還元電位）は、0〜マイナス10mVと、しっかり還元系の湯でした（実測値）。 でも、湯船では何度計測しても400mV程度と、酸化していました。おそらく、源泉温度が高いため、チョロチョロ少量のかけ流しにせざるをえず、湯船に流れ落ちるまでに酸化しているのかな？ 少し残念😢 スタッフの皆さんの対応は、普通レベルですが、東南アジア人の仲居さんの印象は良かったです。 14時30分に宿に到着後、きっちりと15時までロビーで待たされたのは、久々の経験でした。 だいたいの宿は、早めにチェックインさせて頂けるのですが、、、

初めて伺いました スタッフの方はみなさんとても感じが良かったです。まずはそれが嬉しかった 至る所に細々した気遣いが感じられました 女性には選べる浴衣をお借りでき、また私的に嬉しかったのは帯の下に結ぶ腰紐があったことです いつも旅館に行くたびに持参しようと思いつつ忘れてしまっているので有難かったです 食事は部屋食です 十分すぎる量でした 朝食ともに満足です お風呂は殆ど他の宿泊客と被ることなくゆったりでき、また貸切も２つのみですが待つことなく何度も利用させて頂きました なぜか時間帯によっては温かったのです 湯量は少な目ですが白濁硫黄泉が堪能できます 温泉上級者？には少し物足りなく感じるかもしれませんが都心からもそう遠くはないので関東圏内で白濁のお湯を求めている方はそこそこ満足できると思います また機会があったら伺いたいと思います
