Great location, good value for money, comfy bed & good view. Mary is super friendly and helpful! Perfectly located for access to nearby walks, including Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Taranaki Falls. Very close to mini mart, petrol station, and food outlets.

De locatie is prima. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer is magnifiek. Helaas is de geheel glazen schuifpui, waardoor je naar binnen komt ook de 'voordeur', zodat iedereen die over de galerij loopt, direct bij je naar binnen kan kijken. Dus geen privacy, tenzij je de gordijnen dicht doet. De kamer is groot en de faciliteiten om zelf eten te koken zijn voldoende om een eenvoudige maaltijd klaar te maken. Wij waren met z'n tweeën en konden het achterste deel van de kamer, waar drie stapelbedden waren, gebruiken om onze koffers neer te leggen. Daarachter was een eenvoudige, maar wel schone, badkamer. Met voldoende ruimte om je spullen/kleren neer te kunnen leggen, zonder dat ze nat worden. De beheerder was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Toen ze hoorde dat de Wifi verbinding slecht was, heeft ze het meteen nagekeken en het systeem gereset, waardoor de connectie met het internet weer optimaal werkte. De supermarkt naast het hotel is duur en niet heel uitgebreid. Daarvoor moet je echt naar een andere stad rijden, alsook voor de benzine die elders veel goedkoper is.
