Medieval Village B&B

The village is certainly interesting from a landscape and historical point of view, but Baldo and Chicca's baby much less so! Very very dark room, badly painted dark brown walls, poor light bulb in the center of the ceiling, uncomfortable bed, without headboard, on two sides against the wall therefore without bedside table or lamp on one side. On the other side an old and dirty lamp resting on the ground. Clean, poor quality linen. The bathroom has a sloping ceiling so you can't stand upright while brushing your teeth. My husband had to shave while sitting on the toilet. Steep stairs to go to the bathroom. Little furniture made of pieces recovered from abandoned houses which has nothing to do with the Middle Ages, nor with a minimum of comfort to be given to guests. The breakfast is nothing extraordinary, good but with industrial products, even the cake is pre-packaged. But the most unpleasant thing is that the owner (Lorenzo), at the time of booking, told us that we could have dinner in a pizzeria 3/4 km away. In reality he knew very well that that place was only open on weekends but he didn't tell us so as not to lose the reservation and so we traveled more than 50 km there and back to find the first open restaurant. Furthermore, the road is a continuous curve, anyone who suffers from car sickness should forget it. But, in my opinion, forget it anyway! If you want you can visit the village, but go and sleep somewhere else!!!!!

Baldo e Chicca, un b&b immerso nel verde e nel silenzio. Accoglienza impeccabile da parte di Lorenzo, con un buon bicchiere di vino e una piacevole conversazione. Camera pulita con tutto il necessario, colazione abbondante, molto gradita. Consiglio vivamente questo posto, ci si sente come a casa!

It is a dreamed place. Away from the world. Lorenzo is a genius, he made us a spectacular dinner and Serena a unique breakfast.

Unexpected location within a small medieval village where we found every type of service and comfort. The owner's touch made our stay a very pleasant stop. Super comfortable welcome with helpfulness and friendliness. We will keep it in consideration for the next escape from the city.

A place surrounded by nature, beautifully surprising. Lorenzo very kind host and excellent company. Wonderful room. All built into the rocks as if it were a fairy tale... I was amazed! Too bad only for one night.. But I'll be back!

We loved the charm of this stone house in the heart of a medieval village. We had a great dinner in a restaurant 10 minutes away and it's certainly a bit tricky to get there but it's not too bad either. Lorenzo is an extraordinary host. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. On the other hand, if you pay on site don't do like me and think about having cash ;)

Charming quiet very basic but in a positive sense excellent quality price only very small perhaps breakfast. Delightful, friendly and helpful host. We would like to return for the beautiful experience

An absolutely fantastic and unique experience in a genuine Italian accommodation. Really special to stay in a medieval village with a really nice host, Lorenzo and family. 30 m from the hotel is a restaurant that delivered one of our top five meals of all time. Must be experienced!
