We hebben hier 2 nachten geslapen na onze vliegreis. Het was een ontzettend warm welkom. De eerste avond ook in het hotel gegeten. Erg lekker en veel eten. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en geinteresseerd. De kamers zijn netjes met grote bedden.

Wat een fijne start van onze vakantie in Sri Lanka! Een vriendelijke warm welkom en fijne plek om bij te komen van onze reis. Dichtbij het strand (vergeet de vismarkt niet te bezoeken), afkoelen in het zwembad, lekker eten en een fijn bed in een fijne kamer.

The hotel is located in a quiet side street to the beach promenade. We had a friendly, warm welcome with a delicious fruit juice and refreshing towels. The hotel's inner courtyard has a lovely garden with exotic plants. The room was spacious, clean and practically equipped. We didn't have any bedsheets to cover ourselves with. Surely we would have been given some if we had asked, but we didn't notice until we went to bed. One criticism: The water in the washbasin and the shower drained away poorly after using. For dinner and breakfast you can choose from a menu of different dishes, including authentic Sri Lankan food. It was very tasty.

A fantastic stay at this nice hotel. The food was great, the staff was extremely friendly and from the hotel we could go around Negombo. The hotel also has a nice pool area and is situated around aa small nicely kept garden. A perfect start or finish to a Sri Lanka holiday.

The Morning Star Resort had the task of giving us our first impression of Sri Lanka, and boy did it succeed in it! The rooms have airconditioning, clean bathrooms and spaceous beds, and the hotel has a nice swimming pool in which you can relax and cool down after a long hot day. However, above all, the staff is very friendly and the manager is really invested in the hotel. It was also always nice to eat inside the hotel, with a chef who always made sure that everything was perfect, whilst sometimes coming over to have a chitchat! Job really well done!

Super gast vrij! Nette kamer en een heerlijk bed. De mogelijkheid om een dag heerlijk bij hotel te relaxen aan het zwembad. Wil je meer zien van Negombo dan regelen ze dat voor je. Daarnaast ook nog keuze uit diverse soorten ontbijt die allemaal een lekker zijn.

We experienced a very friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms are situated in a beautiful environment. Food was authentic and very nice, Garden around which rooms were situated was well maintained and looking beautiful. Swimmingpool was a plus!

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit nur 9 Zimmern (2-Bett-, 3-Bett- und Familienzimmer), die um einen Garten herum angeordnet sind. Dadurch entsteht eine kleine Oase mixen in der Stadt. Das Zimmer und das Bad (sieht aus wie frisch renoviert) sind sehr sauber. Auch das Essen war sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns wortwörtlich jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Der Manager erklärte uns, dass es vor kurzem einen Managementwechsel gab. Man möchte sich jetzt individuell um jeden Gast und dessen Bedürfnisse kümmern. Das Hotel liegt in einer Sackgasse, ein bisschen ab vom Schuss. Dafür ist es wunderbar ruhig! Und mit dem Tuktuk kommt man ja schließlich schnell und billig überall hin. Absolute Empfehlung! War nach ca. 10 verschiedene Hotels in 15 Tagen unser Favorit!
