Azul Beach Resort Negril

1. There was a big stereo type when they found out that we were locals. 2. There was a leak in the bathroom, numerous complaints and nothing was done. water leaking directly on the toilet seat didn't know it it was Grey water or clean water. 3. Buffet line especially breakfast was always run out of items. 4. Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for Buffet breakfast. And was never offered any water. Had to asked for silverware.

Not a 5 star or even a 4 star hotel

Great location, fabulous service & the best beach in the world!

The resort stole money from us, my fiance paid to have our room decorated for $150. He paid cash, went back the next day to set up a time and was told he did not pay, when he actually did and was charged another $150. Their photographer on site also stole from us, he was paid cash and said he was not paid ! I put up an argument every time and we will never return to this "resort" you are bothered non stopon the beach and hassled to book spa appointments and excursions, we got engaged there and just wanted to relax, we were secluded to the beach and overcharged and stolen from by the staff here. Never again !

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort in Jamaica for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. There were so many aspects that made our stay truly special. Firstly, the food was exceptional. Both the Italian and Caribbean restaurants offered delicious meals that we looked forward to every day. The flavors were authentic, and the service was top-notch. John the restaurant manager was always kind and ready to help! The kids club was another highlight. The two ladies (Jojoamd Keda) who managed it were simply amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and created a fun and safe environment for our children. This allowed us to relax and enjoy some quality time together.One piece of advice: perhaps the age requirement for leaving children at the kids club could be reviewed. Our 2-year-old daughter had to be accompanied by one of us. However, she had developed a great rapport with the ladies and would have happily stayed with them even without mom and dad! The beach was stunning, with pristine sand and clear waters. Its proximity to the numerous pools, each featuring swim-up bars, was incredibly convenient. We loved spending our days by the pool and beach, sipping on refreshing cocktails made by our favorite bartender, Camille. She was always cheerful and ready to mix up something delightful for us. However, it's worth mentioning that some of the staff could improve in terms of finding solutions for guests more efficiently. We encountered a small issue with our room at check-in. It took a few attempts and some clear communication, but eventually, the problem was resolved, and the rest of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, despite the minor hiccup at the beginning, our honeymoon at this resort was wonderful. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Jamaica, delicious food, and excellent service in a picturesque setting.

Azul Beach Resort is a stunning resort with the friendliest staff that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Special shout out to Keneatha and Kwame for making it steady so special and going above and beyond in every aspect. The food was lovely in each restaurant, with the Asian restaurant being a particular favourite of mine.

Out of all the all-inclusive resorts I have stayed at this one had the best drinks by far. They have good liquor and it's not watered down. I also liked how close the room was to the beach. Loved the beach lunches at the Garfield.

I recently stayed at Azul for 4 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The resort is ALL about the beach. If your a major pool person, probably not the resort for you as they just have small little pools but if your a beach person it’s amazing. I was traveling with my 4 and 6 year old. I highly recommend asking for building 9 or 10, not that anything is a long walk anywhere, but for us it was PERFECT based on location. Our girls could stand on our balcony, wave to us on the beach directly in front of them (it’s that close) and the kids club in on the back side of the building so we could easily drop the kids off for an hour or two to get a break from the sun and it wasn’t annoying to have to walk half way across the resort like some places. My girls LOVED the kids club, asked to go twice a day and Keds and Jojo we so awesome. They made arts and crafts, popsicles, necklaces, danced with them, and more. Sometimes I have to force the kids to go to kids club but they actually begged to go. The beach was also great for kids, my kids are good swimmers but usually I put life vest on them in the beach still, but here they could walk a far distance out and still stand (so it’s pretty shallow). Also next to building 10 was the beach restaurant so you could grab lunch food like burgers, etc to eat right on the beach and not have to get changed and you could grab a drink from the swim bar in the pools which again were literally all like a 10 second walk from each other. The food was decent, drinks were decent, but if you are looking for extremely relaxing and easy going resort this is a great option. Some of the short falls of little things to at night bother someone for me are weighed out by the relaxing nature of the resort. We had come from Hilton Rose Hall before this which we loved but it was go go go all the times with water slides and lazy river, this was the opposite, for us it was nice to just sit and relax and do nothing haha. There isn’t grandiose shows in the evening like some resorts, but usually a small band or little show which was plenty for us. I think for the price point it’s a great option, if you want lots of restaurants, entertainment, things to do, Beaches is probably a better option in Negril, but at a much lower cost Azul was perfect for our family to chill out and really experience the world famous beach. I think beach there wasn’t “super fun” pools like other places my kids were more into playing in the ocean for longer periods of time here. Lastly, we did go to Ricks Cafe. Hotel organized us a taxi for cheap $40 I think roundtrip. I don’t know if it was just the day we went but it was not what I expected. I did jump and that was cool, I had not expected to so I did buy some shorts from the gift shop, but I would bring your swim suit because there is a pool you can swim in and just watch people jump. But what I DID NOT like was the music was SOOOOO LOUD, they had a DJ and it was just unnecessary loud like college Spring Break style t

The resort was nice for views. However, there was no towels, the food places were closed when they were supposed to be open. The main buffet was the only place to get food and it opened late. We could not find transportation to get to our excursions. Shots were poured in wine glasses.
