5 start for the concierge and all front desk people and pool bartends. 5 starts private dinner with an excellent food and server. Also 5 start for chef’s showcase. 3 start for the beach bar: - warm beer. I expected a cold beer as we were at beach front in a hot weather. I’ve asked the senior bartender if they have a cold beer can and he just said “no”. When you paid something expensive you always expect a proactive atitude. I had to go back to my room , got my cooler and the door bell man ( sept 13, 1:00pm) promptly filled it up with beers and ice for me. Five start for the door heel man! 1 star Wifi - I couldn't connect in the Wifi for the whole stay and ended up using my roaming data(expensive) . This is a basic that the hotel can provide to your client. My concierge was helpfull, but didn't resolve the issue. 3 star bar drinks - I expected drinks with fresh fruits instead of syrups( lemon, pineapple, papaya, ) 3 starts room - noisy room beside the road. - old mattress with a large slope on the right causing me to be thrown to the edge of the bed.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, and tasty food. The resort landscape was picturesque. The room was clean and quaint. The staff was friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Our favorite dining experience was the Chef's Showcase, however, we enjoyed all the meals. The beach was beautiful, and the water was surprisingly warm. We had a relaxing stay, and would stay at Sunset at the Palms again!! Special thanks to personal concierge, Sadesa 😉

We enjoyed this resort so much we are already planning another trip for next year. The staff is amazing, the food is great but the atmosphere is where it is at. The treetop rooms are amazing and the landscape and gardens are a work of art and ecosystems. 10/10 stars.

This resort was the most relaxed I have ever felt on vacation. We were there August 30th to September 5th and our biggest regret was not booking a longer stay. The food, the staff and drinks were excellent. Even though we visited during there rainy season we were still able to go to the beach for 4-5 hours daily. We just got there early and enjoyed their private beach. It was basically like we had the resort to ourselves. It would rain in the afternoons and we would relax on our porch and enjoy the sounds of the rain and the jungle. I highly recommend this resort. If you are looking for a lot of nightlife it may not be a good fit. The evenings were filled with dinner and drinks but there was not much for entertainment. This may have been because it’s their slow season. We still had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute. The snorkeling right on the private beach was great. We seen sting rays, turtles, crabs, starfish and plenty of different fish.

Ok where to begin We came to SATP for one week as part of a two week /two resort holiday, to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We were greeted at reception with a drink by Sadesa our concierge -what can we say a professional and helpful lady for who nothing was to much trouble a real credit to the hotel . A short informational tour of the hotel by James who then took us and our luggage to our room. A wooden cabin on stilts in the garden containing a large comfortable bed ,flat screen TV, facilities to make a drink, lots of drawer space . The bathroom had a very large shower, complimentary shower gel and shampoo and towels which could be changed as often as we wanted. There was also an iron and ironing board and and umbrella which came in handy. Each cabin also had a veranda containing a bed , a table and 2 chairs .Lighting in the cabin was very subdued which we found was lovely . Breakfast and evening meals were buffet with plenty of choices ,lunch time was a la cart .We did several sittings in the lotus leaf restaurant and the chefs showcase each time beautifully presented and served by staff who were so attentive . Some tasty martinis made by a lovely lady at the bar am so sorry I cant remember your name . Drinks at the pool bar made by Kirk the senior bartender who had all of us laughing . There was some entertainment but all very low key. The beach was across a main road which a lady with a stop sign would escort you safety across As previously stated by other reviews if you want a laid back holiday then cannot recommend this hotel enough. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff that we met whilst here ,am sorry that we cannot mention individually as we have forgotten your names all of you are a credit to the hotel . Don't worry we will not leave it to long before we pay you a visit again.

I loved how I felt like I was part of the country and there was not a lot of concrete around. The staff were amazing and the relaxation vibe was everywhere!

DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU’RE: - looking for a loud and entertaining resort. - if you’re rude and arrogant. - if you don’t like peace and quiet. - if you don’t love cute cats that roam the resort. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful all-inclusive. This is the place to book! Amazing cabins, amazing resort, amazing beach and the best staff we ever had! My wife and I were looking for a unique place to stay for our honeymoon that was low key so we could relax after Reno’s and hectic wedding prep. We found this place last minute and booked based off the cabin photos and one review that read “there was nothing to do at night” *click book* We arrived after a beautiful yet entertaining taxi ride from our driver Benji and was greeted by Jayme. He took our bags and then we sat down with Tarine, who took care of us and helped us every single day we were there. I can’t say enough about the staff. So friendly and helpful and really make you feel at home. The resort was quiet mostly because of off season but even at full capacity you’ll never feel overwhelmed. The cabins are amazing as we got a place in the 400 block. The resort is small and very easy to navigate through. The food was amazing each and every day and probably the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive. The walk to the beach is lovely and quick and a crossing guard to make sure you get across the road safe. The beach is small and well kept, lawn chairs and umbrellas with drinks being served at 10am and lunch at 11:30. Each night we were in bed early and loved falling asleep to nature or rain and thunder. We enjoyed a couples massage one day that was amazing. Take the taxi arranged by the resort to 7 Mile Beach one day as the beach is gorgeous but very busy. You’ll be able to find some nice areas to go for a swim though. Only downfall of the resort was small things like lack of hooks in the bathroom and poor choice of light bulbs throughout the resort (daylight brightness in areas at night took away from the beauty) we tried to changed the bulbs ourselves but security caught us but laughed about it. Be mindful there are no windows so it’s best to be quiet like everyone else while you’re in your cabin. Unlike the couple who had a domestic on our last night or the rude group who acted like the owned the resort and rude to staff. Other than those minor things we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for making our honeymoon one to remember! (Especially Tarine) A must book for us and anyone else looking for relaxation and low key environment. Dave & Carly

This is a very beautiful, very peaceful resort. It's not a chain so it has a quaint and unique charm that you just wont find anywhere else. A little slice of private paradise with lush tropical gardens at every turn. If you're looking to relax then this is the best spot. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, special shout out to Tamicka (sorry if I mispelled) and Cash as far as service goes! And Brenda and Jolena in the spa. Sedissa was a great concierge as well. Now for a detailed review. Booking was very simple from their website, I appreciated being able to see the price with airfare included and getting to select from a few different airline options. I had to reschedule this trip two times and both times they were very understanding and accommodating, both by phone and email communication. The second reschedule was on their end because of the hurricane (obviously not their fault) but they still gave us an extra 2 nights at no charge for the inconvenience and that was very much appreciated. We booked transfers to/from airport thru them and it was very easy and on time. I would recommend letting guests know your driver meets you right outside the airport doors. There were lots of companies with signs and having never been to the montego airport it was confusing and I had to ask someone, but once we stepped outside our driver Harry was right there and he was an awesome driver. If you've never been to jamaica I don't recommend renting a car as the roads and driving etiquette are very different from the US. Harry got us there in one piece. Once we arrived at the resort we were immediately greeted by friendly staff with cold towels and a refreshing drink - after months of waiting for vacation and traveling all day that was such a nice touch. We were given a partial tour of the grounds and then taken to our room. We eneded up walking the whole grounds to explore the property and I think every room has a great view. Our room was one of the standard tree houses and it was amazing. Our little private balcony is where I spent alot time watching the birds or the rain. The bathroom is bigger than expected. We showered multiple times a day (morning, after beach, pool etc. ) and water was always warm. The pressure was a little hit or miss probably because some of the faucets need to be reattached, loose fittings and such, not a huge deal. The bed was comfy and the mini fridge was a nice amenity. There's a TV with basic cable but we only used it once. They provide robes and slippers as well for a bit of luxury and we were celebrating a special occasion so they had a little bottle of rum as a gift waiting for us in the room. I'm not one to spend a ton of time in my room when I'm on vacation but it was a very nice and relaxing place away from everyone to unwind. It's not a bougie hotel, it's an island oasis so if you're looking for gold and caviar accommodations it might not be for you but if you're looking for an authentic tropical oasis then this is t
