3-Star Hotels in Negros Occidental

My fiancee and i like this hotel since its clean and the staff are very much accommodating.. Foods are great too... Plus its near in Sm, baywalk downtown church and in port going to manila all in walking distance only..one thing im sure is were going to go back in this hotel again and again... I and my friends just got home from campuestuhan highland resort,.I guess I need to write and post this review for them to evaluate their service and all. 1. SLOW AND POOR ONLINE PAYMENT TRANSACTION- it should be a surprised birthday celebration for our friend and it was planned by his husband but the thing was it was difficult to call someone in their side who will assist and confirm If the payment was received by them. We paid in half for 2 days, and when were about to check out my friend settled the balance of our stay. She was so shocked that the amount endorsed by the their staff is not the same amount she deposited in advance. .. good thing was one of our friend managed to keep the receipts in his email.. You guys should have a proper endorsement, specially in this kind of stuff. As what I observed in your information desk or F.O you don’t have any telephone or even a desktop where you can monitor your coming and outgoing guest. it is very important because most of the people will transact through online to easily without hustle. 2. ATTITUDE and POOR SERVICE - when we arrived we don’t feel a warm welcome by the Front office staff, or just ask how’s your travel or what because we’re so delayed to check in because of some malfunction of the car. I’m not saying here the we want to be felt important. I’m just giving you a tip on how to make your first time guest to be your repeated guest. And when we’re about to check out not even the F.O or the guards when we left said. thank you for visiting or come again, or How’s your stay at campuestuhan. .. .. it’s just so sad if all of the guest that came here feel what we felt. I don’t know why some of their staff in the restaurant, when we will ask question they don’t make an eye contact. And I don’t like how annoyed their face look like.. they keep doing what they’re doing even we asked them a question. And the end we don’t understand what they said. 3. INEFFICIENT HOUSEKEEPING- I don’t know if the housekeeping staff knows that we’re four staying in a Bonita hut but they given us 2 towels only, good thing we brought some towels. It’s really hard to call or ask them because you have to walk before you can ask what you need. .so by the next day good thing they give us complete toiletries including toothbrushes as well. 4. LACK OF AMENITIES- the room is nice but there is no TV, no ref no telephone.so sad. 5. WE JUST LOVE THE PLACE AND THE VIEW.

Avenue Suites is one of the most accessible accommodations in Bacolod since it's located along Lacson Street, one of the main thoroughfares of the city. Its facilities are okay, with a nice swimming pool, a small fitness center, a lovely restaurant, etc. on the ground floor. The rooms, on the other hand, were minimalist in design, with no decors whatsoever on the walls and very limited furniture, but quite spacious and with a private toilet/shower room. They're very strict with the ”no outside food and drinks to be brought into the room” policy and yet they don't even provide guests with free water. As to the toiletries, they have a shampoo/body wash dispenser fixed on the wall of the shower box and a toothbrush with some tooth paste. Nothing more. The only thing they really have to work on is the noise on the ground floor and of some guests and staff in the corridors. The rooms have very thin walls. I was on the second floor (room 212) near the stairs and the elevators and I could practically hear all the noises outside. Hence, I suggest that you avoid booking a room on the second floor near the stairs and the elevator. By the way, breakfast was okay and hotel staff were very accommodating.

I really enjoyed my stay, I had the opportunity to learn more about local cultures. The owners are open and friendly, we felt at home. The place is clean and simply beautiful. Thank you for the welcoming.

for our one night stay in the hotel we sleep good. quiet and clean but the building looks so old. The service is very good except for the restaurant. They served long time. Online booking is expensive than walk-in price. The location is very accessible easy to search

The 1st room on the 2nd floor needs renovation and Wi-Fi connection there was bad however the room I transferred to was newly refurbished and Wi-Fi connection was not an issue anymore. It's good that their shampoo and soap were organic. Parking space was limited while breakfast needs improvement. Overall, our stay was good.

I stay in hotels 200+ nights a year, both for work as a healthcare professional traveling around the U.S. and for leisure in Asia, where I live. In recent memory this is the ABSOLUTE WORST hotel that I have stayed in. Saying it is HORRIBLE is not an apt description. Think worse, MUCH WORSE. Staff were rude, insolent, indifferent and were the least representative of ”hospitality” that you could imagine. My wife and I were traveling separately because I was flying back home from the U.S. and she was coming from up island. We normally stay in a much better hotel each time I get back from an overseas contract, but our usual hotel was booked out. The hotel looked ”okay” on the website. Not in real life. Despite numerous emails and texts, one that very morning, about my wife arriving ahead of me and occupying the room the front desk staff made her sit in the lobby for 2+ hours because the room was ”Not ready”. The only thing that would have made this room ready was a wrecking ball. This hotel has set a new sub-standard of excellence. If you lowered the bar any further a snake couldn't slither under it. Grime, filth, rust, the bathroom vent fan hanging out of the ceiling, the room ”safe”, a shoebox sized box, didn't work, but no worries, it had been ripped from the wall previously, so you could just carry it with you under one arm. Just getting into the room was an adventure as the entry tile was buckled so that you couldn't open the entry door completely. You couldn't open the adjacent closet door either, but that really didn't matter since this hotel does not provide hangers. Really. No hangers. The pool, viewed from our room, might have been inviting to cool off, if it hadn't been for the lovely ”Frog Pond Green” hue of the water. We asked for extra towels and an extra pillow. Those come at a cost. The next day housekeeping took the clean (extra) towels out of the room, but left the dirty ones on the floor. Then the front desk called and said that we needed to pay the ”daily rental” for the extra pillow. Otherwise they would be sending someone up to collect it. After the 2nd night we'd had enough. Really, we would have shifted sooner but I was jet lagged from 30 hours of transit from the U.S. back home and, really, could it get any worse? Well, yes. Day 2 I awoke to find a construction worker on the access balcony outside our room's window. At 0605 hours. Peering in. Silly me. We were on the 4th floor, why did I need to worry about drawing the drapes. He smiled and waved. This would be a great place to stash your hated mother-in-law, worst enemy or evil boss. The staff seem to be taking their hospitality cues from binge-watching the PURGE movie series. The ONLY redeeming factor is the SM Mall located about 0.3 km away. So, you can always look forward to shopping. Like I said, the WORST hotel experience in memory. We fled. There are a few decent hotels in Bacolod. This is NOT one of them. Stay clear and far awa

When you book at this hotel, make sure it is perfect because all other requests are shut down. We assumed separate beds when we booked since their photo showed separate beds. When we came in closed to midnight, the lone receptionist said that's what we booked. We showed her the photo and said but that's that. We asked if she could transfer us to a room with separate beds since the hotel is not full anyway. She said she doesn't have authority to do so. Ok, so we were tired and not happy. Next we requested for extra comforter. The housekeeper said it's for an extra charge. What?! We paid for an extra bed but thr 3rd person in the room cancelled so we just asked for the comforter that was assigned for that paid extra bed. The housekeeper said that extra bed has no comforter. I said, what? Is that a joke?!!! So, I said just set up the extra paid that we paid for. So when he came in with all the stuff, we just took the comforter!!! Oh my goof!! There are plenty hotels in Bacolod,if you can... avoid this hotel. Location is ok, but unfortunately, service is poor

The staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful even though I arrived late and only stayed briefly. They organized everything for me in an efficient manner. I like the location close to all the bars and clubs in Goldenfields. I'd definitely like to stay at this hotel again.
