We have just came back from a wonderful family holiday in Cyprus. We stayed at the CBH and we had an absolutely fantastic time! It was out first time in Cyprus so we read the reviews of a few hotels in Cyprus and decided to go to the CBH. I can honestly say that it was one of the best holidays we have had. All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful from management, reception team, to the cleaning staff. The location of the hotel is right by the beach and the facilities are fantastic. My only little grumble (and I mean little!!) was the fact there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room as I like my coffee first thing and so would recommend that you bring your own travel kettle if you like your morning drink. We requested a fridge at a small cost for our drinks etc. You may also have to request an iron if needed (no cost). I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you enjoy a nice relaxing time. We were in rooms 757, 756 and 751. Not sea view but very nice. I would also like to mention that we cannot thank the staff enough for their assistance when my granddaughter, who has epilepsy, suffered from seizures and ended up in hospital! They were very concerned and could not do enough for us. A very big THANK YOU the Manager, Mr Ioannou who made a point of talking to the guests every day! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!

Fantastic! As travel staff in the UK. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively. I have stayed in some of the lost luxurious hotels of the world, but this has to top them. Service impeccable, food outstanding, facilities outstanding, rooms luxury and spacious. I have never returned to a hotel twice however, The Cap St George will be my exception and I will return. Jordan you are a credit to the hotel. Every day you interacted with guests. Made us all feel very special. Also Michalis hope I spelt her name right. Who always engaged with us . It is with dismay and extreme anger that I write this review. On 12th October 2023 I rang to make a reservation for my husband and myself for two nights. The man I spoke to on the telephone told me the price, how much breakfast would be, the check in time, and took details and my name. I had told him that we would be travelling from Larnaca, a two and half hour journey and so the booking was made over the phone. The following day, once we had arrived, we were greeted by a disgruntled receptionist who could not find our reservation. She had spent a good five minutes searching for my name on the reservation list. It was evident that she was becoming agitated because she could not find my reservation. You can imagine our frustration on hearing this and she kept reiterating that there was no reservation under my name. She proceeded to ring her boss, Mr Dimitri Demetriou - the same man I had initially spoken to when I first made the reservation, and started shouting at him. She then passed the phone to me to speak to him. After reminding him that we had already spoken the previous day when I made the reservation, he categorically told me there was no room available; and to my dismay, I told him this was unacceptable and irresponsible. So, basically we were stranded without a room for those two evenings. To make matters worse, the receptionist verbally abused us and called us derogatory names, especially as she realised we were Greek Cypriots from England. This incident has left me embarrassed because we were treated badly by our own kind. And another thing when I told Mr Demetriou that I would be reporting him to the CTO, all he could say to me was ”Go ahead”.

We visited the hotel two weeks before our stay, the reception person, was totally confused about our booking. Two single rooms and two double rooms, in total 6 adults. It took over half an hour to get it sorted. On arrival, we arrived with a group of other friends who had also booked on line. To say he was rude, I know it all would be an understatement. Ours was two singles and two families?? ( after we have previously been there to sort it. Told other friends of our they had not booked, even though they had confirmation on their phones, it was faulty towers, with a Cypriot Manwell. Eventually most got rooms, !! Advicado bathroom suit from 1970, no shampoo or shower stuff, had to hold the mixer Tao shower head up to use the shower. Towels were multi colour and different sizes and had had seen better days. The sheets were clean, but stained and covered with an 1970’s eiderdown. The decor is old and dated 1970’s) At 21:30, the place was virtually in darkness, no bar, no food, not even a coffee available. Breakfast is to be avoided, even the coffee was disgusting. I am really sorry to say this but, has to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I have traveled the world.
