Although Maritim is a major chain in Germany as well as throughout Europe, this is the first time my wife and I stayed in one of their properties. All in all, a great hotel offering some incredible views of the Ulm Minster and the Danube. The check in was very easy with most desk clerks having various language skills. What I didn't like was how much more parking and the breakfast was added on to the stay. Still, I must say that the any breakfast offering champagne says a lot to us as we always enjoy several glasses before hitting the pavement to walk the city. We also closed out our evenings each night enjoying more wine and/or champagne. Next time, perhaps we will dine up here in the restaurant with a panorama view overlooking the Danube and the city. This place had an indoor pool; however, the water was not warm. Perhaps that was intentional to dissuade usage in this COVID environment. As Germany continues to open, I may have to start checking this chain out as we were overall impressed.

Don't let the reception staff put you in room 241. It is what I would call a tip. We requested a twin bedded room. However, this was originally a double bedded room with two single beds put in it with no thought of lighting arrangements. The floor covering was filthy, the toilet smelled damp and the tiles on the wall and floor were infected with black fungus. The shower hose was black with fungus too. Not what any guest should expect to encounter in these times. The bed sheets were, at least, clean. The hotel shows some lovely photos of other rooms but room 241 looked nothing like the pictured ones. The breakfast was ok. The car parking was secure and much cleaner than our room. I should have returned to the reception and complained but I had had a long day driving and was in no mood to challenge anyone about the state of the room. At least my eyes were closed for most of the time and I could not wait to leave the establishment.

This a really nice hotel in every aspect. The rooms are larger and extremely comfortable and are spotless. The bar area is really nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very good and the quality of food is very good. The breakfast is one of the best I have had at a hotel in Europe. The staff are very helpful and extremely friendly nothing is to much trouble. The hotel has underground parking with a fee payable per night. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city center and the train station. Once in the center there are many restaurants to choose from and if you have time at the weekend you can explore the old town of Ulm just a couple of minutes from the city center. I will recommend this hotel to colleagues who come to work in Ulm and also friends and family if they visit Ulm. Thank you to all the staff and management who made my stay so enjoyable..

It was a nice stay, Room was quite well. Lights and Linens. Toilets clean. Nearby there is a bus stop from which Ulm Hbf can be reached and will take around 10-12 mins.
Nearby, Netto supermarket is also there.
On the right of the hotel , there is a good passage and a park.
Staff at reception was quite helpful.

The adjacent bar and restaurant is not connected to the hotel. The frontdesk has no clue what is going on there. I was rejected to eat/drink due a to private party which the front desk was not aware about. There is a vending machine next to the reception, but it is ruining you. 2,5euro for a 0,25dl sparkling water! Nor was it refilled during my stay and it was almost empty. My room was not well prepared upon my 3 days stay. There was missing cups, glasses and Nespresso capsels. Nor soap in the shower. The beds are okay, but window fronting to the hotel entrance is too noisy. No Aircondition. Rooms are very warm. The room need maintenace, it does not look up to date. My room was not cleaned on the second day. I left the room quite early and put out the note telling the cleaners it was ready for them. Facing the reception to confront this issue, it occured that the reception was not manned and was only available by phone! The breakfast... Is a very simple hotel breakfast. Not worth the money, not even close. Free parking though.

Sufficient parking, friendly hotel staff, generous room with parquet, very clean, well equipped, modern, very clean bathroom, breakfast buffet rich. Price-performance ratio very good. Restaurant comfortable but loud, service very attentive and friendly, kitchen average, both in the presence and in the preparation. The hotel bar is modern but not suitable for mobile customers, because only high chairs and high banks. So we had to make a cup of coffee from the house (the restaurant was completely covered for the evening). Points are deducted from the bar and restaurant. However, we would still have to stay in the cattle again after blue ears.

There were some problems with the check-in, because there was no manual service. Finally, I found a cabinet at the door, and I could get the key by entering the number given by the customer service.
The hotel is very quiet, there is a balcony, and the sunset is beautiful.
The only downside is that the bathroom has a long strip of transparent glass, which is unobstructed, and it is not convenient to live with colleagues. . .

GGerhard RThe room was well furnished and clean. The location in the middle of Neu-Ulm is optimal, to the Danube river it is about 100m. The reception is friendly. Parking problems I didn't have because my bike found a good place in the bike cellar. But breakfast was not something for me, because as an old man I don't eat so much, so I would go 100 m away next time, compared to the council house there is a cafe with bakery there I find more like my taste. But this is not a reason to take a star off, because it's personal taste. What's a little disturbed me is the fact that I haven't seen anywhere in Corona's times desinfectants.

The hotel's equipment is moderately spartanian,but it's enough for a short stay. It's also very clean in the rooms. We're always happy to come back.
If you arrive with the car, you can enjoy a lot of free parking on the Allgäuer Ring!

GGuest UserThis is the third time we have used this hotel as a stop on our way to Italy. We had issues with vehicle on way down so phoned hotel to let them know and key was put into a safe by the door, which was simple to use. We had a family room, which are very spacious and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The first issue was the parking, or lack of it. There seems to be lots of other apartments around the hotel now, all vying for parking space, so either be early or be prepared to park your car on the street and have a walk with your cases etc to the hotel. Maybe a barrier system should be installed so it can be controlled better. The restaurant has changed from the traditional German affair and become an Indian one so limiting the choice for travellers. The breakfast buffet was nowhere near as good as it was before, even though there seemed to be lots to choose from, the quality just didn’t seem the same.

Kamer zeer gehorig, enorm warm en onmogelijk om een raam open te zetten, want ligt langs een speelhal en daar waren tot diep in de nacht mensen lawaai aan het maken. En de kamers liggen vlak tegen een zeer drukke weg. Staat van de kamer ook bedenkelijk, kapotte gordijnen, zeer gedateerd,… Maar ok, dat was het minste. Want mensen, als jullie toch besluiten hier te overnachten, vergeet er dan alsjeblieft niets! Wij waren onze AirPods vergeten, we hebben onderweg naar huis dadelijk gebeld naar het hotel, want bij AirPods zie je de huidige locatie, dus we waren 100% zeker dat ze nog in de kamer lagen, dit werd ook bevestigd door iemand van het hotel, de AirPods werden voor ons in de safe bewaard, we moesten enkel nog ons adres doorgeven en 25 euro betalen en dan stuurden ze ze op. Na heel wat gebel en ge-email kregen we ook via mail bevestiging dat ze de AirPods zouden versturen. Een tijdje later namen we opnieuw contact op omdat we nog niets ontvangen hadden en toen begon het: plots hadden ze onze AirPods niet meer, we kregen een hoop vage verhalen en leugens te horen en heel wat frustraties later: onze AirPods nooit meer teruggezien! Dus bezin voor je hier boekt of vergeet er zeker niets. Das Zimmer ist sehr laut, sehr heiß und es ist unmöglich, ein Fenster zu öffnen, da es an einer Spielhalle liegt und dort bis spät in die Nacht Leute Lärm machten. Und die Zimmer liegen direkt an einer sehr stark befahrenen Straße. Auch der Zustand des Zimmers ist fragwürdig, kaputte Vorhänge, sehr veraltet,... Aber ok, das war das Mindeste. Denn Leute, wenn ihr euch entscheidet, hier zu übernachten, vergesst bitte nichts! Wir hatten unsere AirPods vergessen, wir haben sofort auf dem Heimweg das Hotel angerufen, denn bei AirPods sieht man den aktuellen Standort, also waren wir uns zu 100 % sicher, dass sie noch im Zimmer waren, das wurde auch von jemandem vom Hotel bestätigt, die AirPods wurden für uns im Safe aufbewahrt, wir mussten nur unsere Adresse weitergeben und 25 Euro bezahlen und dann schickten sie sie. Nach vielen An- und E-Mails erhielten wir auch eine Bestätigung per E-Mail, dass sie die AirPods schicken würden. Eine Weile später meldeten wir uns erneut, weil wir noch nichts erhalten hatten, und dann fing es an: Plötzlich hatten sie unsere AirPods nicht mehr, wir hörten viele vage Geschichten und Lügen und viele Frustrationen später: Wir haben unsere AirPods nie wieder gesehen! Denken Sie also nach, bevor Sie hier buchen, oder vergessen Sie nichts. Room very noisy, very hot and impossible to open a window, because it is next to a game hall and there were people making noise until late at night. And the rooms are right against a very busy road. Condition of the room also questionable, broken curtains, very dated,... But ok, that was the least. Because people, if you decide to spend the night here, please don't forget anything! We had forgotten our AirPods, we immediately called the hotel on the way home, because with AirPods you can see the
