Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal features free wifi, 24-hour front desk services and breakfast (only if you purchased). Check in time is 15:00hrs and check out time is 12:00hrs. We stayed in a King Room Top Floor. The room itself is big there is sufficient walking space, and it is cozy and spacious enough for 1 king bed with a huge window to have a view. In addition to that, it also have a built in wardrobe with a long side table which was really good to put all your travel items, documents and anything else. In terms of room facilities, it features a separate bathroom and toilet cubicle with Crabtree’s shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. They also have Hair dryer and a mini bar fridge are also provided. Wifi is fast and reliable and the room comes with USB sockets. Overall I am satisfied with the stay at this hotel. Thank you.

The room was fairly standard. The bed was a bit narrow but otherwise comfortable. We liked the non-carpeted floor. There was a L'Or single-serve coffee machine in the room, much appreciated. Wifi was good. Breakfast was good. The flat-screen TV in the room was not at all ”smart”, apparently satellite input, poor reception, and only a very small fraction of the provided list of channels was actually available. The thermostat (?) in the room made odd noises several times per hour. There was no ventilator in the bathroom, and 2 of the lightbulbs in the bathroom were burnt out. The set of 3 electrical outlets at the desk were not functioning.

This guesthouse far exceeded our expectations- Melissa and team have only taken it over in the last month and the work they’ve done already is breath-taking! The service we received from every member of staff was over and beyond what we could have hoped for. The restaurant, the cocktails, the food - everything was exceptional. So glad we didn’t stay at one of the spa hotels- they were nearly 4 times the price but guaranteed they couldn’t have given us the service we received here. We ate dinner on the first night, which was extremely good and tasty as well as having lunch the next day here. Really couldn’t recommend it enough. Make sure to ask to try the Duck Gin!

Modern updated accommodations on the northern fringe of Zurich. It made for a nice, affordable stay within reach of what we came to this part of Switzerland to do. The first time I have been to the city while not on business and happy to report that the city has a lot to offer. The overall challenge with Switzerland is prices exceed what they should be. Drive an hour and a half north, south or west and prices drop by half for just about everything. It is what it is and just know and accept this. What I really liked about the hotel. 1. The decor, look and feel. Exudes class, without opulence. 2. Close to other shopping and transport links 3. The customer service was kind and helpful even with bloopers made along the way. They owned their mistakes and made it right. This is huge in my book-- well done. 4. Breakfast was very good 5. Outside terrace a respite from the one hot day we had. 6. Bed was comfortable 7. Ritual soaps in the bathroom. What I did not like: 1. Parking was 19 CHF per night 2. There was a blooper at check in (giving them credit, they made it right) What they should consider: 1. Add USB plugs at the night stand area 2. Maybe consider how to encorporate ”swiss'ness” into the stay (Lindt chocolate on the pillow, or something to that effect...) Overall: Good hotel, competitive price point with good customer service.

The room in here is quite small and it's fitted for a solo traveller but the staff of the hotel was very nice and the processing of our check-in was quite good we didn't run into any problem. And they have free power banks and it's near krispy Kreme and maccas.

I stayed at this hotel for one night for an early departure. It is located in a neat township of Glattbrugg within a seven-minute bus ride from the Zurich airport. Buses circulate every 6 or 7 minutes. My modest investment of € 80 has paid off in spades. The room was big and uncluttered with a super-comfortable bed and a HUGE TV screen with free movies for all tastes. There was a tiny fridge too with free Coke, beer and orange juice. Spacious wardrobe, large work surface and a big bathroom, with this particular shine that comes from highly professional cleaning. Its only downside from my point of view was a smallish bath in the place of a largish shower cubicle that would have been my preference. There is also a gym, a wellness centre and several eateries including a spareribs place but I had no time for exploring those. Within a short walking distance there are several take-aways and a supermarket. I found the price to be quite reasonable for an airport hotel and even affordable. My only doubt was an insecure internet connection that my browser categorically blocked as it posed a threat to the security of my personal data. Chrome had no such qualms though. All in all, to be highly recommended.

Apart-Hotel by Hilton is a hotel run and supervised by the Hilton Group. The stay here for you might not earn you Hilton Honors point but trust me you do not pay too much to book the hotel and still enjoy a wonderful stay. The parent Hilton Hotel is just 2 mins walk from Apart-Hotel. The same airport shuttle picks you up from the airport and first drops you at the Apart-Hotel and then the Hilton flagship hotel. The fact that your airport pick-up and drop (at scheduled hours) are free adds up to the benefit of staying here. The property might not have a full-fledged kitchen but it serves hot breakfast every morning. If you chose to dine you are guided to the nearby Hilton Flagship hotel which is an amazing place to be. Overall, my stay here was amazing- no regrets or complaints whatsoever. With the stay in a 6-bed dorm room being just an ordinary experience, the best about this place in my opinion are outside the room and specifically the ”wide corridors” nicely spacious to walk around & the ”huge lounge” downstairs with plenty of work-spaces (big tables & chairs all around). And yes, also pretty ”nice & filling” was its buffet-styled breakfast with really a variety of items (actually food available throughout the day with lunch & dinner as well but which you have to pay for unlike the breakfast included with the stay). If coming here from the Zurich Central (HB) Station, there's the train first to Hardbrucke (just one station from HB) followed by the bus to Jugendherberge (about a 15-minute ride and getting off at the station just before its last stop of Morgental). And if going downtown from here to the area with the city's ”main churches” (Fraumunster, Grossmunster & St. Peter's), there's a tram at just about a 5-minute walk ”straight from” the front entrance (and likely at a frequent interval).

This is totally unattended hotel - there are no staff of any kind (other than housekeepers) and no restaurant. Everything from making your reservation to paying to checking in and getting your ”key” (there's actually no key, just a code for a pin-pad) is done online via your web browser or smartphone. So, if you are 100% comfortable with doing everything in your life via your smartphone, great. If you are the kind of person who forgets passwords or does not read instructions carefully, this is not the place for you, it will only end in heartache. That probably explains the negative reviews posted - those people didn't read and follow the instructions provided. The hotel has a ”no refund” policy, so be darn sure you are going to use the reservation once you make it and pay for it. But having said this, the price is half what you would pay elsewhere in the village for the same quality of accommodation. There are plenty of places to eat and shop within a 5 minute walk. No parking is provided, and it is very difficult to find a parking space in this village. This is not a good place to stay if you arrive by car! The site is a former apartment building that has been converted to single rooms. The rooms are large, modern, Swiss-clean, and comfortable. Internet is fast and free. There are no amenities such as coffee-makers, fridges, or laundry facilities. Like most Swiss hotels, there is no air conditioning. It's in a residential area of a small, quiet village. To sum up: If you are prepared to read AND FOLLOW the instructions on the website and in the email you will receive after making your reservation VERY CAREFULLY, and if you are comfortable with a completely unattended hotel (no services or guidance available), this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. Otherwise, best to book into a more conventional hotel, such as the Welcome Inn which is 200 meters up the street and is a very fine hotel. PS: No check-in is possible prior to 2:00 PM in the afternoon.
