Beautiful historic home, beautifully restored and furnished. Room and bed very comfortable .Excellent breakfast, fresh with many options. Looking forward to returning soon!

This B&B is just a delight to stay. Its so beautiful and spacious. Breakfast is 5 stars. Easy access to Louisville, KY. Cant wait to stay again.

If you want something beyond the usual hotel for a stay, this is the place. My wife and I very much enjoyed the stay. It is not often you get to experience history at this level.

The place was beautiful. Definitely needs a more thorough cleaning and breakfast wasn't good but overall cool experience.

You are making a mistake to skip by this spot and going to a hotel. Easy parking, fabulous and comfortable rooms, but the gourmet breakfast is worth it all by itself. Our second visit while passing through town. This is our go to spot. You won’t regret it!

Best investment i have made so far!

We were so looking forward to staying here after a wonderful visit two years ago. Alas, our stay was very disappointing in many ways. Upon arrival, instead of being welcomed and given a lovely tour by the previous owner, no one greeted us at all - the first time that’s ever happened at any of the many other B and Bs we’ve stayed at. This time, it was like staying at a VRBO, with a lockbox and written instructions about how to get in and where to eat. We expect that when renting through VRBO but we enjoy B and Bs, in part, because of the friendly and helpful hosts. Unfortunately that’s no longer the case at this place. There no cookies, fruit or other treats to welcome us. No more afternoon wine and snacks. No help for two seniors to haul their bags up two flights to our room. Speaking of our room, we booked through a third party website because the rate was less than booking directly. All that site said about the room was that the bathroom was “ detached”, which I ( wrongly) assumed meant it was next to the room, down the hall. Please be aware that if you book the Pepin room, the bathroom is down TWO flights of stairs. So if you wake up in the middle of the night to use it, you’ll be fully awake after that long walk down and up the brightly lit staircase. So much for a good nights rest! The room itself is very nice and beds comfortable, but it was dusty in several areas of the room. We finally met the “ innkeeper” when she served breakfast the next morning. She was nice enough and the food was good. But that wasn’t enough to entice us to return here again. The new owners must be more interested in using this lovely home as an event center for weddings, etc. But what a shame that the overnight guests are left to fend for themselves rather than enjoy the hospitality offered by the previous owners.

We lucked up booking last room at this wonderful BnB just 15 min from downtown Louisville. It is a beautiful mansion that provides the ultimate BnB experience of comfort, elegance and sumptuous breakfast. Upstairs the 14 ft. high ceilings and period furniture are unbelievable, and all has been well maintained. The bed was squeaky but comfortable and pillows were perfect. A fan mounted high up in the corner of the bedroom provided just the right amount of air circulation in a challenging upstairs space to cool on a 78 degree day. A short 15 min well lit walk on the same street brings you to the heart of town with several good restaurant choices. The walk takes you past gorgeous large homes with obvious wealth and history.
