Our favorite property in Gruene. Staff are very friendly & attentive. Rooms are very well done keeping rooms historical wherever they could. If we are not in our RV, we stayed here. Just down the road from Gruene Hall & the Historic Gruene District. There are many room options - the staff is quick to help book our needs when we reach out to them.

Gruene Cottages exceeded our expectations. The grounds are clean and immaculate. The rooms updated, clean, with a local charm. A great quiet night for rest after an awesome day floating the river. We walked to Gristmakk from the Cottages for dinner and to Gruene Hall for a show. We then walked home after the show back to Gruene cottages. Maybe 10 minutes? Pleasant and easy to do. We appreciated the details and Jackie helped us with the reservation and checked on us to make sure we had everything. BTW- Our cottage had all the extras. Coffee, bottled water, all the amenities you can think of. They have thought of anything you may need.

Great place for a getaway. The pool is clean and nice to relax by. The on-site grills and outdoor tables and chairs at each cottage made it nice to enjoy the space. Staff very attentive and friendly. A definite place to stay every year!

Already Planning Our Next Trip
I always taking my own cleaning supplies and clean rooms before my family stays anywhere. The sunflower cottage was very clean and I only found one hair - I was so impressed. It was spacious enough for what we needed and was so quaint and tucked back in a safe and quiet area. We will definitely be staying again. The only surprise was being able to hear every word from the guests below us. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The pool and playground were wonderful. The working was fabulous. Just a pleasant and fun place to stay right off the main ***** through town.

Gruene cottages were recommended by family when we attended a wedding at Tge Chapel at Gruene. The rooms were soooo cute and clean, the pool was very clean and refreshing, and communications via text was prompt. It was less than a mile from the wedding venue and shops/restaurants in old town Gruene. Very reasonable rates with nice family feel, we highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Very quiet and the room was clean. They provided coffee and we also had a refrigerator in the room. Parking was so easy. Very walkable to Gruene, about 10 minutes. The only issue we had was the electrical plug in the bathroom did not work. I let them know at check out and got an immediate response. This was our second stay at this property and we will return again.

PERFECT place to relax after enjoying Gruene all day. Convenient free parking, adorable Sunflower cottage, microwave, mini frig, bed is like sleeping on a cloud, clean, great pool, quiet, less than a mile from Gruene. We will absolutely return.

From the time we made reservations on the phone until we arrived on property, the staff went above and beyond to insure that we had everything we needed. Very polite and welcoming! The cabins were clean and inviting. I hope to make this an annual event.
