Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. Much better than a typical hotel version.
I’d caution using suite 10 for more than two people. The sleeper was what you’d expect a sleeper to be - not comfortable! The bed is amazing though. The bathroom could use more hooks for drying beachwear.
I think instructions or information in general could be either more specific (ex: how to get to the beach. A map maybe?) or more visible (ex: wifi code). Things are written with an assumption that the guest knows the area.
Also, Jonathan was so helpful in permitting us a 12pm checkout, but must not have informed housekeeping. We were interrupted twice after 11pm and had to take the time to explain each time as we were trying to get ready to leave.
The local area was fun to explore- we would definitely come back.

Immersed in nature, The Neighborhood Hotel was the perfect fall getaway destination! Beautiful property, clean rooms and a design style that is a mix of fresh, nostalgic and woodsy, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The private path to the beach made for a peaceful fall stroll with deer peeking out along the way. Loved the variety of rooms offered - perfect for families and friends to getaway together!

Last minute girls trip. This place was amazing! Wish our trip was longer. Room was great! So roomy and way better than a small hotel room. Loved to communal areas. Perfect for a fall trip. But we can’t wait to come back in the summer and swim in the pool.

Clean, beautiful property. Kids friendly. Fun amenities, including a great pool and Saturday morning cereal bar. 5-minute walk to beach. Will definitely return!

Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was as expected. My teen boys felt welcome and were given info on activities they would enjoy (pool, ping pong, fire w/ smores). Wonderful experience!

Awesome property. Great amenities, including heated pool, delicious coffee, popcorn machine, Saturday morning cereal bar, outdoor games and more. 5 minute walk to beach and less than 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. Very kid friendly - we will definitely return!

Absolutely beautiful location!!! We loved the peaceful & tranquility! The hotel is lovely, modern, clean, beautiful. Our room was perfect. My husband and myself stayed for one night as we passed through Michigan. Now we plan to come back for a weekend with our kiddos. Only 1hr away from our home in Joliet, IL. This location makes you slow down and breath. The town of New Buffalo also very cute with many great spots! Amazing food and beautiful vibe! 100% in Love !! Can’t wait to come visit again.

Great location and cute place! Driving distance to a lot of different hikes and parks. New Buffalo is a short distance away and fun to walk around. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin and we're comfortable! Loved the outdoor space! Beds and pillows were comfortable and place was clean!
